Daisy VS Madame Gao

Although Japan isn't Madame Gao's home, she has intermittently operated here for hundreds of years. She considers herself deeply rooted in this land and is not afraid of Madame Viper.

At least she doesn't fear her combat abilities.

"Viper, I can split half of the Yashida Family's fortune with you and call it quits. How about that?" Madame Gao hid behind cover and spoke in Chinese.

"Old lady, you're quite advanced in age. How about handing over all your assets and letting me take care of them for you?" Viper, also hidden behind a pillar, shouted back, slightly surprising Daisy who was watching from the sidelines. She didn't expect Viper to know Chinese, and she was quite proficient at it too.

While speaking, Viper gestured to her subordinates to focus their fire. Many of Madame Gao's subordinates had been poisoned in advance, so Viper's forces currently held the upper hand.

As for notions of exceptional skill or honorable one-on-one combat, she simply had no such awareness. If she could take down her foes with chaos, that would be the best outcome.

A mercenary who looked like a burly Norseman held a rocket launcher and aimed it at Madame Gao's hiding spot.

The rocket propelled by a long crimson tail of fire streaked toward Madame Gao.

Seeing that words couldn't resolve the conflict, without hesitation, Madame Gao's whole body surged with energy. Her previously frail body seemed to gain several inches in height out of thin air. Her hunched back straightened, and her feet rapidly tapped the ground, launching her forward like an arrow released from its bowstring, heading straight for Madame Viper.

Three of Madame Viper's subordinate ninjas attempted to intercept it along the way, but with only three moves, two were dead and one was wounded. One ninja received a blow to the chest from her, caving in the entire area like a broken drum. He didn't even have time to grunt, and he died in mid-air from the blow.

Madame Viper shed her alluring demeanour and licked her own fingernails with her tongue, then lunged at Madame Gao with a claw strike.

"Hmph, Westerner, you have no understanding of the grandeur and magnificence of martial arts. Your moves are like child's play in my eyes!" Madame Gao faced Madame Viper and their clash with full disdain. But she did indeed have the qualifications to dismiss her opponent. Having absorbed martial arts from both Eastern and Western disciplines, she had diligently practiced for four hundred years. If she couldn't defeat Madame Viper, a woman who relied on her looks, she would indeed be pitiful.

Madame Gao blocked a claw strike with one hand and countered with a palm strike. Madame Viper wasn't entirely powerless either. She shifted her footing, evading a thunderous palm strike by a hair's breadth. Leveraging her height advantage, she opened her left hand's five fingers, which glowed with a faint green light, and attempted to slice across Madame Gao's eyes.

Madame Gao was somewhat cautious of her toxins and maintained a probing stance. Initially, neither side launched a full-on assault.

Two burly men and two ninjas each brandished their cold weapons, joining the encirclement.

However, their roles only added trouble. In Madame Gao's eyes, these highly skilled and disciplined warriors were no match for her.

One of the green-clad ninjas desperately clung to Madame Gao's leg, trying to sacrifice himself to create an opportunity for his comrades. But his determination was shattered by a punch infused with Madame Gao's energy. His bones shattered, his arm drooped weakly, and his neck twisted at an odd angle as he died without making a sound.

Relying on her subordinates' desperate efforts, Madame Viper engaged Madame Gao in several exchanges.

Her heart grew heavier. Where were the reinforcements they had arranged? The sacrifices being made now were all loyal subordinates willing to die for her. Seduction was a skill, a psychological technique to leverage one's own strengths, not magic. She had lost many loyal subordinates, and it pained her.

Daisy watched from the sidelines for a few exchanges and realised that Madame Viper was no match. If she continued to ambush, she might find a good opportunity. However, she couldn't take the risk. Her trust with Viper was shallow, and if Viper perceived that Daisy was trying to take advantage, it wouldn't be suitable.

She silently calculated the distance between the two sides. Then, a spatial jump abruptly appeared behind Madame Gao, and a shot was aimed at the back of her head.

Madame Gao didn't showcase any bullet-catching theatrics. She moved swiftly, tilting her head to dodge the bullet, and then twisted her waist to turn around.

"Huh? You've actually joined forces?..." She really wanted to say,

How did you, Daisy, end up mixing with Hydra? The words hung on the tip of her tongue but she restrained herself. Hydra was currently in hiding, and if they decided to reveal themselves, all would be peaceful. But if she leaked information from her mouth, it would cause quite a commotion.

For an organisation as massive as Hydra, if they intended to kill her, her martial prowess wouldn't be enough to defend herself. Not to mention, she had seen Winter Soldier in action. She wasn't afraid of a direct confrontation, but assassination tactics still haunted her, especially considering that Hydra excelled at it.

Viper glanced at Madame Gao with an inexplicable expression, implying that while they were fighting, they should remain within certain boundaries. Daisy acted as if she didn't understand anything.

With a "bang" of a gunshot, Madame Gao's focus was slightly disrupted as she pondered. Daisy aimed her gun at the ground near Madame Gao's upcoming footfall. The latter quickly changed her step, and Daisy took this opportunity to raise her hand and release a shockwave aimed at Madame Gao's chest.

A semi-transparent energy wave rushed forward. Madame Gao's reaction was lightning-fast. Though she couldn't use much "qi" (energy), she still managed to strike the energy wave with her palm.

There was a collision between superpowers and ancient martial arts. Previously, Daisy concealed her abilities with firearms, catching her opponent off guard. Madame Gao wasn't aware that Daisy's energy could be projected externally, giving Daisy the upper hand.

Madame Gao hastily responded, not even having a chance to display three of her skill CDs. Her palm force was directly shattered by the shockwave. She lifted her arms in a semi-circle motion resembling Tai Chi, attempting to divert the shockwave.

At the same time, she recognised one unique aspect of Daisy's ability—a peculiar vibrational power. Eastern martial arts also had techniques related to vibration. Madame Gao used a combination of soft and hard techniques to neutralise Daisy's shockwave.

Daisy was astonished by this sight. This old lady was even more formidable than they had previously speculated. Compared to her, Melinda May's combat skills seemed like those of a child.

Daisy truly thanked the New York police for intervening that day. If the old lady had stayed, at least a thousand policemen would have died trying to subdue her. Maybe then they could have overwhelmed her!

Without indulging in her Marvel-style "Quake" ability further, Daisy gently caressed her wrist and forcefully activated the White Tiger amulet.

An invisible tiger's roar surged, granting her the strength of the White Tiger.

Her physical attributes remained about the same, but the White Tiger's predatory techniques compensated for her close combat deficiencies. Additionally, her animal instincts were pushed to the limit.

With her hands shaped like claws, she lunged for Madame Gao's neck.

"White Tiger?" As a former Kunlun Elder, Madame Gao recognised the White Tiger amulet. She hadn't expected Daisy to have it, but it was just a minor surprise. The White Tiger didn't hold much weight in her eyes.

The two exchanged three rapid moves. Daisy's fingernails became extremely sharp, resembling five daggers as they aimed straight for Madame Gao's arm.

Madame Gao also employed a claw technique, countering Daisy's move.
