Confrontation

Black Widow discovered a secret passage and rushed in alone to hunt down the remaining enemies. Hill and Sharon started an operation called "destruction," which was actually a process of duplication followed by destruction.

Daisy pulled the old doctor and ran out of the lab. The old doctor had participated in World War II, blown up German tanks, and was a superhero of the same era as Captain America. However, unlike the unfortunate duo of Captain America and Peggy Carter, he had been influenced by Pym particles for many years, and his physical condition was quite good. He could run and jump, not resembling an eighty-year-old at all. He could basically keep up with Daisy's speed.

Suddenly, a strange frequency appeared on her left side. The opponent was fast. She quickly stopped the old doctor and exclaimed, "Stop... oh my god! What is this thing?"

Before she could carefully discern it, a giant over ten meters tall appeared before them with booming footsteps.

The giant was wearing the familiar white coat and suit and tie from the lab, and even had a wristwatch. However, both his clothes and body were magnified more than tenfold.

Of course, the most eye-catching thing was his head.

Dr. Egghead's reputation was indeed well-deserved. This person's head was like that of Humpty Dumpty, pear-shaped with a narrow top and wide bottom. There was not a single hair on top of his head. He wore round glasses, and on his pear-shaped head, he had a semi-transparent helmet. At this moment, his face was full of a sinister air, and his gaze was fixed on Dr. Pym.

Seeing this enemy's appearance, Daisy involuntarily took a step back.

Even though both had undergone enlargement, Dr. Egghead seemed much more formidable than those giant insects.

The Pym particles had the ability to enlarge, and the original timeline's second Ant-Man used this ability to single-handedly fight Iron Man, War Machine, Spider-Man, Vision, and Black Panther. It was an incredibly powerful move.

However, compared to the current Dr. Egghead, the second Ant-Man's enlargement technique seemed more mature technically. Daisy's memory even included a scene where Dr. Pym himself had enlarged to the limit and stood side by side in conversation with one of the universe's five great beings, the Eternity.

In any case, Pym particles were undoubtedly a piece of Marvel's black technology.

This guy in front of her, from his height, weight, and mental state analysis, was most likely a basic version.

Although this version's height wasn't that impressive when you said it was ten meters, standing in front of him, you would feel an overwhelming and terrifying pressure. He had a gigantic physique that could easily flatten her with one foot.

Daisy felt like she might not be able to beat this enemy.

Turning her head, she wanted to ask if the old doctor could also enlarge. The two of them could team up to fight. However, seeing the way the old doctor had both hands empty and was ready to use his mouth to escape, she could only draw her revolver, preparing for a direct confrontation.

She also hurriedly called her other companions. "There's the boss here!"

Ten meters might not sound very tall, but in reality, it was already the height of a three-story building. Daisy had to tilt her head back to see the opponent's face. And unlike dealing with those monstrous insects, Dr. Egghead was a doctor too, and he wasn't foolish. Many of her tactics might not work against him. His voice sounded like thunder, but unfortunately, he was speaking Hungarian, and Daisy didn't understand a word.

Seeing old Pym standing there with his arms akimbo, a determined expression on his face, ready to reprimand the opponent, Daisy was startled. It seemed that Dr. Egghead had also been educated by Old Pym many times before. He didn't waste any words. His giant foot, over a meter long, stomped down toward him.

Daisy hurriedly accelerated, grabbing Old Pym's arm and ran.

As she ran, she turned her head and aimed her gun with one hand at Dr. Egghead's massive head, then fired a shot.

With a loud bang, the Magnum bullet shot out of the barrel, whistling as it flew toward Dr. Egghead.

Dr. Egghead was a scientist himself, even if he was a villain, he couldn't escape this principle.

His reaction time was far slower than an average person's, and now this primitive version of the giantization ability had extended his nerve reflex speed.

Just as the bullet was about to hit him, he instinctively tilted his head slightly, but it was too late. The gleaming, shiny head took a solid hit from the bullet.

However, unlike the lower version of giantized insects, Dr. Egghead's reserved technology was much more powerful.

The Magnum bullet only penetrated the surface, getting stuck in the fat layer, and it appeared to have drawn some blood. However, it hadn't caused much damage.

"What exactly is the principle behind this?!" Daisy asked as she ran, perplexed. When she had watched the movies, Ant-Man's ability to change size seemed nonsensical. His strength shouldn't change when he shrinks, and logically, his mass should remain unchanged. Yet, he could ride ants around without squishing them.

Enlarging himself was even more ridiculous. His strength could increase exponentially? He could pick up War Machine and throw him around like a toy? Was there any basic physics logic left in all of this?

The current enlarged Dr. Egghead was quite convincing. His bones, body weight, muscle strength, and various other factors had all been enlarged. Where was the conservation of mass? These added parts seemed to have appeared out of thin air!

Seeing that Dr. Pym wasn't saying anything, she asked another question.

Curiously, he gave her a glance. Was there really such a strong desire for knowledge even in the midst of a life-and-death situation? S.H.I.E.L.D agents were quite something nowadays.

Old Pym was only a few years younger than Sharon's aunt, Peggy Carter. Yet, that old lady was already lying in bed waiting to die, while he could still run around energetically alongside Daisy.

Daisy didn't believe that there wasn't some enhancement from Pym particles.

Dr. Pym didn't seem to fully understand a lot of the data about enlargement. He kept glancing back.

"This transformation isn't perfect. My experimental data should be better than the current performance," he said thoughtfully.

Daisy suddenly gave him a push, causing the old man to stumble. A huge rock landed right where he had been standing.

Running away was no longer an option. The opponent covered several meters in one step and seemed to think they were too short. Dr. Egghead pulled out a tree that Daisy couldn't name, sweeping it around like a broom and viciously attacked them. He occasionally picked up rocks from the ground and hurled them at them.

Support hadn't arrived yet, and even if it did, Daisy doubted it would make much of a difference. She had to figure out a solution on her own.

She holstered her pistol at her waist and prepared to use her powers in combat. She had already come up with an excuse: "Chinese kung fu!"

"Doctor, when enlarging, does the density of the body also increase?"

"Of course, density, mass, volume, they all increase," Dr. Pym replied, unaware of her hidden cards. Seeing that she was about to charge into battle, he quickly grabbed her. "Young lady, let's split up."

The old man had a kind heart, and the result of splitting up was that he himself would be caught and killed on the spot.

Daisy estimated inwardly that she still had some fighting power left. She declined the old man's good intentions, instructed him to run quickly, and charged toward Dr. Egghead like a martyr.

Her steps were lightning fast, with two consecutive bursts of acceleration. She reached Dr. Egghead's feet and looked up at his towering height. With her jumping ability, she could leap to his knee, but being in midair was less agile than on the ground. It was better to aim for the ankle!
