Chapter 348 - Game Features

Heading her way to an apartment that had been used by someone she was in a complicated relationship with when she barely got to the elevator and found someone that made her feel the sudden arousal just staring at his figure that was leaning on the wall of the elevator.

She went beside him inspecting his clothes and overall appearances. He had a luggage beside him, uncaring from the world listening from his headphones wearing a black trench coat and turtle that contrasted by his shoulder length red hair. 

It was her first time to feel this sudden anxiety being around someone surpassing that of 'that' person.

"If you are going to ask something then ask it."

He removed his ears and turned to his gaze towards that made her even more aroused as if a primal desire of hers is being awakened. She could not explain it besides wanting to please the man in front of her.

Meanwhile, Caelum observed the young woman who had the air of someone who could only be described as lust. Every time he saw any woman, he was instantly able to know their hidden desires and the woman before him is no exception.

'She reminds some of Liliena a bit, my wife not my sister.'

He inwardly thought as Liliena, his sister was completely different when she had become his wife. A woman who only desires to be dominated. 

"I-I...nothing."

"Are you sure? You've been staring at me ever since you went inside."

"Sorry about that, you just reminded me of someone."

"Is that so? Well since we are already chatting, why don't we introduce ourselves? I'm Caelum Mercer, nice to meet you….?"

"Mia Woo, it's to meet you...Mercer? Did I say it correctly?"

"I assume you're a foreigner?"

"Got that right, I recently moved her temporarily since someone needed my help. How about you? Do you live here, miss Woo?"

She took a moment since the place she's been staying was the place of someone else 'that' person took from. Mia only shook her head while inwardly thinking why she was chatting with a random stranger and confused why she felt compelled to do so. 

"Are you visiting someone? Oh it seems that I will be going. I'm already on the floor where my apartment is."

"Wait, I am also going to this floor."

"Coincidence?"

"Then I head first since it might cause trouble for you, Mr.Mercer."

"Jeez that makes me feel old, just call me Mercer. Very well then see around."

Mia hurriedly went to her destination while Caelum got a good look of her figure nodding to himselfs before heading his way to the apartment where he'll be staying.  

He vaguely understands why she did not want trouble and might have to do with the person she's in a relationship with. Caelum did not pursue when she's a complete stranger and did not care unless she went for him then nothing would stop him from having her to himself. 

Back in Japan, he was light hearted with the girls since they were young and naive about the world but in his place seemed more adult and turned spicy soon.

Caelum yawned out of boredom heading his way to the apartment and arrived soon after before entering to set up his bags. He removed his trench coat before deciding to spend the day training inside his Jade Pagoda. 

Spending time training his Firmament Paragon art along with his Myriad Blade style advancing further but still unable to break through from their stage. 

He hadn't found someone to test his skills and technique where they won't die while Miyamoto is out of the option. The only thing that could be a challenge is the man called the strongest creature in the world.

Still he is steadily uncovering the hidden truth about the essence and what they represent as a whole. It was from an essence to an embodiment. 

Caelum still had yet found the conclusion. How to make the essence of something and turn himself into the living embodiment of it. The only thing that improved was his control and the drawback from his technique. 

"Even how much I train there is something that is missing. Whatever that may be, I'll just need to be patient."

He inwardly thought while exiting the Jade Pagoda and the next day, he waited for the person who would pick him up. Caelum had been thinking about ways to reopen his connection to the Yggdrasil world but the lack of catalysts unable him to do it.  

Caelum was having breakfast when a knock of the door could be heard quickly answering it and saw a strict looking woman with brown hair and glasses wearing symple polo long sleeves. 

She seemed to be taken aback by his appearances, especially the scar on his right eye but quickly composed herself. 

"Are you Caelum Mercer?"

"Yes, I am?"

"I am Yoon Nahee, the Head of the Operations Team from the S.A Group and come to pick you up."

"Alright let me just grab a few things."

Caelum followed her and along the way spotted Mia Woo accompanied by a group of people and met with his gaze for a brief moment before he went ahead and got inside the car. 

'This place just became more interesting.'

"While heading our way there, let's discuss the game and things you had been assigned to do."

"Alright I'll add things to do the story and game overall."

He went read the file giving his opinion certain things and adding a few figures, namely the one that came from another story that he read which was called 'Death Mage Who doesn't Want Fourth Time'.

Caelum added the Demon King fragments and the evil gods to the storyline to his own benefit. It would be long before they arrived at the game but that is what makes it exciting. 

Though, the game already had the 33 Great Demon with Baal being the Demon King but added this another entity form foreigne world like the real Guduranis from the Death mage. 

'Interesting, legendary, myth, transcendent and absolute…quite the interesting features.'

He found the power system of the game to be broken but had certain balance in a way. Caelum added a few more like Demi-gods and Heroic gods along with Subordinate gods, Familiar Spirits and Great gods. 

It came from the series of death mages where the hierarchy of gods and types of god. The Twin Great God would be the Rebecca and Yatan who is first to be born along with the world game history. 

A Familiar spirit is raw energy that does a specific task like a puppet without any will while Subordinate Gods are Familiar Spirit that ascend and gain their own separate will. 

Meanwhile the Heroic Gods are mortals that are recognized by the gods and people from their heroic deeds turning themselves into a man turn god. 

Finally Demi-gods, this is not a term about a human and a god having a child, instead a human who has the strength to contend with the gods and a god that acquired a physical body. 

Of course their also skills called Divine Protection and Familiar Spirit/Heroic spirit descent. 

He further added more figures and that is Rank features of monsters. It ranges from the rank of 1 towards 15 rank. A normal goblin would be Rank 1 while rank 15 would be at Demi-gods level of strength.

Transcendence is different from demi-god when the latter only term is used to compare the strength to contend with weaker gods while the former is breaking their limits to particular things. 

A Demi-God is also different from God killer as killing a god would make them into an absolute. It only levels for strength and boosts their resistance from the effect of a god. 

`I wonder how strong I would be if I turned into an absolute being.'

Caelum thought before finally arriving at the building where the S.A Group are making the game. He became excited to see how things would turn out.
