Bottom of the Pool

At first, Jiang Yue could bear the pain of cleansing.

However, after staying in the pool for one month, he couldn't stand it.

He felt like every centimetre of his body was on fire and the pain was excruciating.

Without a choice, he came out of the pool and sat at the shore.

'It is more painful than I expected.' He thought while looking at Yu Nianzhen.

Although the swordsman was still in the pool, Jiang Yue knew he wasn't at ease.

His face was pale, his brows were furrowed, and his lips curled downwards.

'He must be in a lot of pain.' Jiang Yue frowned but forcibly suppressed the desire to drag his lover out of the pool.

Instead, he sat cross-legged and began to meditate, hoping to ease the lingering pain in his body.

Three days later, Yu Nianzhen also came out of the pool.

"Azhen, how are you?" Jiang Yue asked with a concerned look in his eyes.

"I am okay." Yu Nianzhen said and tried to smile.
