The Real Lara Croft

I ran towards the edge of the ship and saw Alex drowning, I was going to look away and let someone save him, but my attention once again was drawn back to Alex again when Lara dive into the sea to save him.

Lara successfully keeps Alex from drawing by swimming near an orange lifebuoy that Jonah threw towards them. Then suddenly, Sam, in her orange bikini, dived into the sea with excitement in her voice.

Sam: "WAAHOO!!" When she successfully finished her swan-dive, she smiled at Lara and Alex, who was now holding on to the orange lifebuoy. "Sunset swimming? No?"

While they were playing around in the sea, my hands crushed the metal railing when I saw how Alex was looking at Lara. The same look I would give to Lara. But before my anger boiled to a high temperature, someone tapped my shoulders. I turned my head towards the person who touched my shoulder and saw Jonah, who was grinning at my rage.

Jonah: "what can't stand that someone is looking at Lara with affection." he said while wickedly smiling at me, then suddenly he climbed up the railing and jumped off the ship. "Watch out below."

While Sam and Jonah were playing around, Reyes next to me threw them a ladder that they could climb up too.

Reyes: "Get back up here before Grim sales off without you." she said while resting her arms on the railing with a bored look on her face. Lara, Sam, Alex, and Jonah started climbing up the ladder. While climbing up the ladder, Sam and Alex began to talk to one another.

Sam: "how did you end up falling off the ship," she said while climbing up the ladder.

Alex: "I fit in a homemade gadget. That will give us free WiFi to use in the ship." he said while trying not to look up towards Sam, who was climbing up first. When Sam heard that we have free WiFi, she was excited when climbing up the ladder.

Sam: "Yey!!! I can finally check my bids on eBay." she said while being helped up by Lara, who already finished climbing up the ship deck. Alex laughed at what he heard and asked a question to Sam.

Alex: "are you buying bags or shoes," he said while holding onto the railing with a tired look on his face. Lara snorted in amusement to what she heard and answered Alex's question.

Lara: "You understatement her priorities." When Lara said her words, Sam followed up with what she wanted to buy from eBay.

Sam: " Sorry, but it's a tripod and lenses that are needed right now." she said while mocking smiling at Alex.

Alex: "Oh, I forgot you already own all the shoes and bags!" he said with a tired look on his face trying to get help climbing up over the railing. But before he could get on the ship, Sam pushed Alex back to the Sea. Lara saw this and was about to jump in to save Alex, but Sam started talking to her.

Sam: "you don't have to help him, you know," she said while looking at Lara, who was ready to jump back to sea to save Alex, who was asking for help.

Lara: "then who will save him then." she said while sitting on the railing.

Sam: "let him sweat a little." she said while looking at me, who was not feeling too good right now. Lara didn't see my burning gaze on her and continued to talk to Sam. Sam was just smiling at my suffering while talking to Lara.

Lara: "Alex, just you know awkward, and he is overcompensating… like me, who used to be embarrassed in front of everyone." She said while looking at Sam, who has a smile on her face.

Sam: "Yeah, but you're adorably awkward. Alex is just an idiot." she said while smiling at Lara while secretly looking at me. Lara didn't bother with Sam's words and looked at Alex, who was still struggling to swim.

Lara: "I think he might be drowning again." she said, preparing to dive back in the water. Sam saw this and just sighed.

Sam: "Oh, go on, then, and be careful." she said while Lara, who already dive into the water. Sam looked at me with a grin on her face. "So, what are you going to do, big man, I could see that you're not doing too good with Lara who tried to move on from you." I glared at her and asked a question.

Joseph: "so why did you ask me to join this expedition." I said while severely looking at Sam. "if you wanted Lara to forget about me, you wouldn't have to ask me to be a cameraman again." Sam laughed out loud when she heard my words.

Sam: "that's the problem, she tried to forget about you, but she couldn't, and I know both of you wouldn't talk to each other without someone helping you guys out." she said while looking over toward Lara who already saves Alex again. "I gave you a chance with Lara... but it seems that you have some competition going on with Alex. you better hurry up and mend your relationship with Lara, or you will lose Lara forever." I glared and Sam for a minute before I sighed in defeat.

Joseph: "I guess I need to thank you for giving me a chance." I said while looking at Lara, who was saving Alex. "I didn't know that Lara would be brave to save someone, I thought she was shy at least the last time I saw her."

Sam: "Yeah, she was shy before, but that is just a shell she made when she was in college," she said while having a mysterious smile on her face. "The real Lara is much better than the shell she built for herself. And I have you to thank that for making a crack to her shell." I looked at Sam in confusion and asked her a question.

Joseph: "What do you mean by the real Lara Croft.." I said towards Sam, who was walking away from me.

Sam: "figure it out yourself.." she said while disappearing from my sight. I looked at Lara, who was climbing up the Ladder and whispered to myself.

Joseph: "the real Lara Croft, huh…"
