Lin Ya has never had it easy. Her parents left her an orphan in a cruel world at the age of 12. However, she never gave up. Through trial and test and with the support of her middle-class aunt and uncle, she overcame obstacles that others would cower in fear at. She proved to herself and the rest of the nation that she could rise out of the darkness.

Lin Ya suffered through emotional mountains as she worked her butt off in school to secure full scholarships the the nations top universities. Her work payed off as she was the top student in the national exam and even beat the previous record set the year before. After her graduation, nobody heard anything about her. There are no pictures proving her existence after she entered college...but why?

10 years after her parents death the LY enterprises makes a rise. Other companies fall to their knees in worship of the genius of it.. The CEO is never seen however every decision is ruthless to opponents and meticulous to the point where no fault can be seen. LY absorbs smaller companies and makes perilous deals that always seem to make it through. Only five people in the entire company know who the CEO is and how important it is to keep her identity a secret until her 25th birthday.

Now, nearly 13 years later, Lin Ya has risen to the top of the business world. Her enterprise has made it through every trial to become the most successful design and cosmetic industry that world has ever seen.

From uncovering underhand plots by rival companies to destroying rivalling businesses, people everywhere stand in awe of the newly emerged company. Lin Ya herself has been the nations top bachelorette since her she was 22, despite the fact that nobody has seen her face.

Everyday, there is a paparazzi outside of the LY headquarters. Reporters take pictures of every person who walks through the door. It is a well known fact that Lin Ya's assistant, Fan Mei, operates the show at parties and events while Lin Ya is nowhere to be seen. Reporters hope to be the lucky person who finally cracks the mystery of the identity of the CEO of LY enterprises.

The mysterious CEO who has captured the hearts of everybody and the spot of number 1 bachelorette in the nation without a picture, remains in the shadows. Additionally, this CEO goddess is the number one computer genius in the nation - or even possibly in the world! No hacker can infiltrate her companies network. Her existence puts inspiration into the hearts of many people in the nation.

However, her exterior image masks the pain and hardships that she has gone through in the past. It hides the deep scars in her heart. A 24 year old woman sits in the top office of her headquarters. She stares out of the one way window at the city that unfolds from the fog in the early morning. Sighing, she presses two fingers to her temple. Headaches and nightmares have plagued her before but she stays strong and puts up a cold facade. In her other hand is a proposal from Qi corporation.

Looking at the paper, her brows smooth. After years of work, the other top business in the nation has come to her to ask for a collaboration. See, Lin Ya has never asked for collaborations in the past - she never needed to. Her hard work spoke for itself through the pile of documents and collaboration request forms that made it onto her desk everyday.

She browses through the contents of the agreement she had worked so hard to obtain and notices that the CEO of the Qi corporations, Qin Jie, has already signed off on one side of the signature panel. This perplexes her a little bit as her style of doing things usually includes having her assistant, Fan Mei, meet up with the CEO's of the companies and discuss alterations to the contract.

Posting a purple sticky note on the document, she writes 'to accept with conditions. Arrange meeting soon' and calls Fan Mei to the office.

Fan Mei comes in with a mischievous look that makes Lin Ya suspicious. However, she casts her suspicions aside and gives the proposal document with the notations to Fan Mei. As the reads over them, Fan Mei's eyes widen.

"Qin Jie already signed off and you refuse to sign until there is a meeting between me and him to discuss terms?"

Lin Ya nods "Yes. The fact that he already signed it with no hesitations is giving me a headache." Nothing comes for free in the business industry

"Hmm... I thought it was your birthday party that you were stressing about." Fan Mei smiles again and Lin Ya's eyes widen.

She had completely forgotten about her introduction to society party imposed by her aunt and uncle. Her headache intensifies as Fan Mei breaks into a giggle.
