Just Who Are You? (1)

Ed felt himself descend from a great height and looked down. A person without cultivation would not have been able to see that far down, but he saw quite clearly. The stone ruins under seemed to hum below him. He glanced up at Nti Anem who instead of descending was ascending far from the reach of the baleful energy.

Looking away, he concentrated on the ground below. He could feel his body getting heavier as he fell closer to the ruins. Their calculation was spot on and he was landing right at the middle of the tomb.

When he reached a certain height, he felt his body airs stand instantly.

“Look out!” he heard Nti Anem’s panicked voice call out from above him, causing him to guard his front instinctually. Just then, a heavy force struck him sending him back up into the air. At that moment, Ed spat blood.

Nti Anem flicked his hand and muttered a spell and a large apparition of his hand caught Ed in mid air.

“Are you alright?” he appeared beside Ed the next second.
