If only

Looking at the ceiling, the first question she asked to herself was - " Where am I? Wasn't I being executed by the Prince?" She was not quite in a mood to care about her surroundings.

Annabelle De Claistre, the born genius noble lady in the Kingdom of Admon, is the daughter of the one and only Duke Edward De Claistre. From her birth only, she was trained as a candidate for Prince's fiancee, as she was around the age of the Prince. On her second Coming Of the Age ceremony, she fell in love at the first sight with the Charming Prince.

This was her first encounter with the Prince Arthur Velastorm of Kingdom of Admon at the age of 16. From ever since then, she wanted to draw his attention anyhow even if it was at the cost becoming a villainess. She didn't even cared the way people thought about her when she did all the good or bad things to gain his attention.

He was everything for her. But this was not the case with the Prince. He never once to notice to her. He rejected her love for another woman named "Diana".

Prince Arthur married Diana. With this, Annabelle went crazy. She couldn't stand her love marrying another woman. Without thinking, she murdered Diana on a whim.

Annabelle was accused of national treason by the Prince Arthur himself and sentenced her execution. Before her execution, he told her, " You killed my Diana. Let me tell you, Annabelle De Claistre, I NEVER ONCE IN MY WHOLE LIFE LOVED YOU. You mean nothing to me but a PEST. You're even worse than a PEST to me. I HATE YOU."

Annabelle stood there in shock. She couldn't believe her ears. Not even a word was coming out of her mouth. Only thing that came out of her were tears of her broken heart.

With pink jewel eyes, she saw her father Duke Edward begging on his knees to the Prince to spare his daughter. Was she hallucinating? Her father, who was such a proud man, was begging on his knees for the life of HIS DAUGHTER. But, why would he do that?

Could it be.....no.......but what if...it could be his love towards his daughter?

Annabelle thought, ' I was being loved. My Father loved me.'

'Yes!'

'I was loved by the people around me. But I was blinded by my love for the Prince.'

She didn't want her father to beg for her unfilial daughter.

She yelled, " Nooooo!"

"Please, Father! ...Please!...Don't beg for me!"

Her father came running towards her. He placed his hands on her cheeks.

"Anna, don't worry. I will do anything to save you.

Don't worry my daughter. Father will save you. "

"No, Father. ...Please, don't beg to him. I was such a fool not to realize how much you loved me, Father. ....I'm sorry, Father! I'm sorry."

She cried till her heart's content in her beloved father's arms.

She regretted that she loved Prince Arthur.

If only she hadn't loved him, she would have been able to spend her love to those who loved her.

She was taken to the guillotine by the soldiers. Seeing his daughter on the edge of death, Duke Edward took his sword and to kill the Prince due to his anger. But the Royal Knight killed him.

Annabelle lost her father. Her heart ripped apart from pain. While being executed, she shouted,

"If only I could get another chance, then I would not have loved you. If only....."

She was lying on the bed. She got up and looked around the familiar room. This was her room when she used to live with her father in the Duke Mansion. She looked at herself in the mirror. But her body looked very small, just like that of a child.

A maid barged in the room. As per Annabelle's memory, the maid was her nanny " Mary". But why in the world Annabelle was there. She was very confused. Wasn't she being executed?

But what Mary said, cleared all her confusion.

"Anna sama! You should take more care of yourself. You're just eight years old now. "

Everything became clear to Anna now. She has been reincarnated in her eight years old self.

Could this be her chance to prevent the tragedy from happening......
