Regina's lips curved in an evil smile as soon as Haewon left her ward. She was very grateful for her acting skills which had improved a lot over the years, else she had no idea how she would have been able to contain all the resentment she felt the moment Haewon walked into her room.
Just like her mother had bewitched Ji-tae and finally killed him, Haewon had bewitched Jake as well, but she wasn't going to let them take Jake away from her. Never.
Even though she might have succeeded in deceiving Haewon into pressuring Jake to marry her, she knew it wasn't over yet. She still had to think of a way to make Jake do what she wanted.
The sound of the doorknob turning startled Regina, and immediately she adjusted on the bed and shut her eyes like she was sleeping.
Jake walked in with a food pack and shook his head when he saw her pretending to be asleep and as he walked closer to her, Regina opened her eyes slowly.
