Promise Me
Jake tried not to pace around nervously as he sat with his grandmother in the living room while waiting for Haewon to show up on Thursday afternoon.
Regina had told the housekeeper to take the day off so that their presence won't give off an impression of luxury when Jake was pretending to be an average person.
Jake picked up his phone when it started ringing and turned to Regina when he saw that it was Haewon calling.
He tried not to look too tense or excited as he spoke with her and after their conversation he informed his grandmother that she had called to inform him that she was a few blocks away from the house.
"Finally I get to meet her," Regina said with a pleased smile.
"Are you going to be okay meeting her when you hate her so much? Are you sure you can keep your emotions hidden?" Jake asked, and his grandmother shook her head.
