"They're back!" Felicity shouted, shooting upright in her chair.
Everyone gathered around the console whipped around, and when Kara blurred into view, she and Lena stumbling as they landed, Oliver ran towards her. "You OK?" he asked in concern.
"We're fine," Kara nodded as J'onn, Mon-El, and Imra returned next, Barry and Jesse speeding in a second afterwards. "We're OK."
"Lena?" Malcolm asked.
"If your definition of 'OK' is alive, then yes, I'm OK," Lena took a few deep breaths, eyes red as she tried to keep herself under control.
Oliver looked past them as Cisco opened a breach and jumped out with Slade, Dig, and Caitlin, Harry with them, and his eyes widened in horror. "Where's Sam?" he asked.
Lena let out a noise similar to a cat being strangled and shook her head rapidly, putting her head in her hand, and Kara hugged her fiercely. Alex's eyes widened and she ran over to join the hug, William's own eyes wide in alarm. "What happened?" he asked.
"In the words I never want to hear from a villain's mouth again," Slade grimaced, "stronger together."

"Whoa," Evelyn's eyes were the size of saucers when she finished hearing what happened. "Cool!" Kara's head whipped to her, looking at her incredulously, and Evelyn quickly backpedaled when she saw the miserable look on Lena's face. "But terrible."
"Maybe if they weren't supervillains, it'd be more cool," William chimed in.
"Exactly," Evelyn pointed at William, taking his way out.
J'onn cleared his throat. "Perhaps now would be a good time to hear what you've learned, Lena."
"After I showed you the footage from my office, I took Sam to a secret lab of mine in L-Corp," Lena answered, sitting at the head of the table in the conference room. "I conducted a series of tests with her consent."
"When I examined her, I found nothing out of the ordinary," Alex frowned.
"I guess you weren't looking for the right things," Lena shrugged.
"So what you find?"
"After sequencing her DNA and comparing Sam's blackouts to Reign's attacks, I came to the conclusion that we were right," Lena answered with a sigh. "Sam is Reign."
Kara closed her eyes and turned around, and immediately Oliver put his arms around her, hugging her as she buried her face in his shoulder. Seeing Sam's "blackout" in Lena's office on tape had been one thing, but to hear the confirmation from Lena was another. "Oh, Sam," Laurel sighed, leaning her head back against the wall.
"Surely something good came out of this, right?" Cisco asked hopefully.
"I was hoping to isolate the spark that turned Sam into Reign, but I didn't get a chance to finish," Lena shook her head. "Sorry, Cisco."
"Any way of tracking the Worldkillers?" Barry asked.
"No," Lena sighed miserably, lowering her head onto her crossed arms on the table.
J'onn looked across the table at the three aliens on the other side. "Anyone else?"
"They've gone to ground," Mon-El shook his head. "They're not coming up again until they have something big to do."
"The future's fate is more precarious than ever," Imra said grimly.
"Would you like to know our odds of defeating Pestilence at this juncture?" Querl looked up.
"No," multiple people around the room answered at the same time.
"OK," Barry rubbed his forehead. "Well, the good news is while the Worldkillers are all together now, you've got us helping you," he gestured to Caitlin, Cisco, and Harry. "Surely we'll find a way to track them down."
"I'll work on trying to contact the too," Cisco added. "Ray and Lily will want to help."
"Then let's do it," J'onn nodded.

"We are so close, daughters," the Fortress hologram smiled in dark satisfaction as she looked upon the trio in front of her. "So close to a new and clean realm. But before we can begin, the humanity within you must shrivel and submit. You must be completely mine."
Pestilence closed her eyes, then made a noise similar to a purr. "I just felt it. Grace just shriveled and gave up without a sound. My change is complete."
"And you are the hologram declared, making Pestilence preen. "Purity, Reign, you will soon follow. Samantha and Julia cannot last long now that you're all finally together." Reign nodded her understanding, and the hologram looked between them. "You must all join and bring a blessed darkness to Earth so that it may be reborn."
Reign gestured, and Purity and Pestilence took her hands, the three of them standing in a circle as electricity crackled between their hands.

Sam woke up gasping for breath, looking around the dark valley in horror. She had blacked out again . . . and this time, it hadn't been because Lena and Harry had electrocuted her.
She jumped when she saw a figure laying a few feet away, and she stared at the woman in a pantsuit lying limply. "Oh, Jesus," she breathed, putting a hand over her heart. She looked the other direction, and this time, she saw someone else . . . another woman, this one with dark skin and wearing a red sweater, staring blankly with wide eyes. "Who are you?" she asked, standing up. "I'm not gonna hurt you."
The other woman screamed suddenly, scrambling backwards and making Sam jump. "I killed him!" the woman gasped.
Sam looked between the two of them, then shook her head. "I don't see anything."
"That's because he's mine," the woman swallowed. "Not yours. But your kills will come back soon."
Sam's eyes widened. "We're the same," she realized, then looked at the woman still limp on the ground. "Was she one of us, too?"
