Chapter 1: A New Path

Harry Potter stood atop the roof of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, gazing out over the misty peaks of the Forbidden Forest. He had just completed his seventh year at the school, but instead of the sense of accomplishment and joy he had felt in the past, he was filled with anger and resentment.

He had dedicated his life to defeating Voldemort and bringing peace to the wizarding world, but despite their many victories, the threat of the Dark Lord still loomed over them all. Harry was tired of always being the one to save the day, tired of always being the hero. He was tired of being used by the wizarding world for their own purposes.

It was then that Harry made a decision that would change the course of his life forever. He would no longer be the hero the wizarding world needed. Instead, he would become the Dark Wizard they feared.
