In his Kingdom

Jennifer's prince carried her in his arms while moving his wings up and down soundlessly. She was made fall into deep sleep as soon as he lifted her in his arms. When she opened her eyes, she found herself lying in a large double bed, with the crimson velvet cover bed sheet and cushions, placed at the corner of the room by the window. She looked around to know about the bedroom.  It was a large room with walls of navy blue colour while the carpet was white and the doors and windows were pitch black. Hanging suspended in the middle of the ceiling was an antique chandelier, giving off a warm charming light. In front of the bed, in a corner placed was an elegant milky white vanity made of solid wood with a huge mirror on the top. The room was also accentuated with antique navy blue drapes on the door and the windows.

While Jennifer was running her eyes across the room, a rhythmic creak ran throughout the room as the door opened. She, instantly without moving herself, closed her eyes, and pretended to be asleep.

"Jenni! Jenni! Darling, don't you want to wake up? The sun has emerged today after several dull dreary days with lightning and thunderstorm. It has risen to welcome you in this beautiful place of Samatania, my homeland." Her prince began stroking her right cheek while sitting beside her on the bed.

Jennifer opened her eyes, her face blushed, her eyes glistened and her lips parted in a smile, creating small dimples on her both cheeks. She sat up on the bed, "Is this your country?"

"Yes…Samatania…it's my country…you're my beloved wife…it's your country too!"

"Samatania! Nice name!" Jennifer seemed impressed.

'Hmm…' Her prince uttered with pride.

'Lemme go wash up!" Jennifer stood on her feet, while her prince gestured toward the restroom.  She lumbered towards the loo. When she returned, she looked more glamorous and gorgeous. Her prince stood, took a few steps forward, and pulled her in his arms passionately. "You know Jenni…you're my sunlight and my moonlight…your look makes me happy…please don't take away my sunlight and my moonlight."

Without replying, Jennifer tightened her grip around the prince and rested her head on her prince's right shoulder like a complete peace has descended after a storm raged on through the night. She then pushed herself a little back and looked into the prince's eyes with all the love and glamour she had mustered within herself. Shortly, their lips met, and their tongues touched; their senses were flooded with new sensations, and souls melted into each other in a melody older than time.

They stepped out of their bedroom to the dining, where the table was laid for breakfast; boiled eggs, omelets, bacon, toast, pancakes, sausages, fruits, cereals, and whatnot. Jennifer, who was utterly famished, goggled at the sumptuous, scrumptious array of foods in total disbelief and in no time began gobbling and gulping almost everything like a hungry lioness.

"What a fantastic meal!" After wiping her mouth, Jennifer looked at her prince.

"It is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the meals in lunch and dinner." The prince grinned with his reply.

After breakfast, the love birds took to the kingdom for a sightseeing tour. They exited the living area of the palace, which was thoroughly made of white marble like 'The Taj Mahal in Agra, India. There were two swimming pools on either side of the walking track. The pools were constructed with cool blue tiles that enhanced the color of the water, which was blue as the sky and clean as the crystal; it was soothing to the eyes and refreshing to the mind and body. This suddenly sparked an interest in Jennifer to jump into the water with her prince and splash water on him while they both cuddle and caress each other.

"I know what you're thinking! Don't worry we'll be in the water sooner or later." The prince grinned.

"How do you know that?" Jennifer looked at him with astonishment.

"Hahahahaha…" Instead of replying,  her prince giggled.

Coming out of the main gate, they were greeted warmly by the guards. A beautiful huge chariot with four white stallions was ready for them.  The charioteer greeted them by bowing and then waited for them to board the carriage. He then hopped up onto his seat, pulled on the reins, and commanded the horses to start moving. The speed of the chariot intensified gradually, turned faster and faster, and then all of a sudden it left the land; it took off and began flying. Jennifer held her breath and was left flabbergasted. She glanced down and found everything including houses, trees, rivers even mountains turned diminutive.

"Vow! It's a flying chariot!" Jennifer ran her sight around and then down to the tiny objects.

"Everything that we want can fly in our kingdom." Her prince looked into her eyes with vanity.

"You mean even non-living things can fly?" Jennifer raised her eyebrows.

" Yes…rocks, shrubs, trees…everything!"  He combed his long black hair with his fingers.

"Hmm…I'm impressed…you're super…supernatural!" Jennifer pressed his hand in hers.

"I am…no more a supernatural! I'm a human now…for you…because you're a human…If I had to go an extra mile, cross any limit, I would do…just for you…to win you." He raised his hand to his lips and kissed it.

Jennifer let herself loose and dropped her head on his shoulder, "That much you love me?" Jennifer smiled.

"Yes I do…and I mean it! You don't know how much I shed tears when you tied the knot with that lousy insane person!" He rubbed his lips on her cheeks.

"Oh really! I could never measure the extent of your adoration…That was my fault…otherwise, I'd have never let Sam enter my life.' Jennifer dipped herself into his eyes.

"Better late than never." He touched her cheeks with his both hands.

"Where are we heading now?" Jennifer asked.

"Maysomatonia !"

"Maysomatonia? Is that a neighboring country?

"Yes! It's my father's kingdom. His name is Maysom.

"Oh, I see! So you've your separate kingdom, Samatania?  Jennifer confirmed.

He nodded.

"How many siblings do you have?" Jennifer was interested to learn about his family.

"We're six brothers…no sister?"

"Does everyone have a separate kingdom?

"No…All my brothers are with my father in the palace of Maysomatonia."

"Then why are you separate here in Samatania?

"Because I breached the law of the land…I disobeyed my father…I revolted."

"Revolted?"

"I feel for you…a human being…my father punished me by sending me to Samatania, an uninhabited place. Except for a few attendees at my service, there are no common residents living. Now I'm the king of Samatania, but sadly no people!"

"That's very cruel; equal to black water punishment, isn't it?"

"When I saw you while flying errands over your territory, I fell for you…Since then I had been living with you. While I went missing, my father began the search and shortly found out about me that I was living as a human being…he cautioned me, and warned me many times…but I just could not leave you."

"Oh!"

"He banished me from his kingdom…and let me live in Samatania."

"So sorry to hear that! Why are you then taking me to Maysomatonia? He'll kill me."

"No…he won't kill you…he might accept you as his daughter-in-law. And then we'll wed on a formal occasion as you false-displayed with Sam on an ostentatious occasion.

"But I'm already married to Sam."

"Don't mention his name before me. That was not a marriage…that was some compulsion…He cast sorcery on you…marriage is not without love…and we both love each other, isn't it?"

"Can I seek divorce first and then we can marry?" Jennifer showed her reservation.

"You're on our land…all human contracts and truces are abolished here. When there is no marriage, there is no divorce!" He turned down her proposition.

That twenty minutes chariot flight brought them to Maysomatonia.  The chariot landed in front of the King's palace in such a beautiful lush multi-colored landscape, Jennifer had never seen before. Her eyes filled with the sight she had only imagined and dreamt in her utopia, her nostrils filled with the fragrances she had never smelt before, "It's an amazing place…these different colors of grass I have never seen. Green grass, sky-blue grass, pink grass, purple grass…how's that?

"We've 20 color shades of grass throughout the country. Another marvelous thing; look at that tall tree, It's a palm tree…it's so tall that it touches the passing clouds. Whenever we need rain, my father shakes this tree, if the passing clouds contain water, it rains onto this landscape."

"Oh really!" Jennifer looked at him with amazement.

"No bragging…I'll show you one day." The prince held her hand and both began walking arm in arm into the white-bluish palace of King Maysom.
