Chapter 24: Max lives a peaceful life (Pt1)

The first semester of Grade 8 felt different for Max but he got used to it and during the holiday that's when they said that Zach has escaped on the news and Max knew that the uncle would be coming for him.

But to Max surprise he never sighted his uncle and he was living peaceful except that he was living without his parents which still left a big whole in his heart.

After that Max continued to learn martial arts and then after some months Max got his yellow belt which he wore every time he got to learn martial arts. Max then became the best yellow belt there some even say that he can beat a blue belt but Max had to wait before he gets promoted to Blue belt and Max was a very patient person so he could wait but when it comes to school work it's the opposite because Max barely use to wait.

And in Max first semester most of the people in his former class were also in his new class including Steven which was still Max rival when it comes to school but the same thing that happened when Max was in grade 7 happened again but what happened was that Max also got first in class but this time Steven got third in position which made him seriously angry because he was going back in school work and it made him feel ashamed because more than half of the people in his class were shaming him some of them said that from first he went to second then from second he came out third while the rest of them said that he would soon take last which made him unhappy.

Steven wanted to know who got second and he later knew that it was Elliot that took second he was shocked and he asked Elliot "Elliot, how did you get second."

"Well I am normally smart and as I read I become smarter I'm even smarter than Max."

"Your joking right."

"Nope I'm not joking I'm really smarter than Max is just than I don't want to take first."

"Okay, prove it."

"How?"

"Take first position during second semester."

"Okay, I will."

After Elliot ended the conversation he went back to meet Max and Moses.

Then it was the holidays the time when people get to rest and enjoy before school starts again and since Max birthday is always in the third semester he knew he would soon celebrate his birthday again and he also knew that it would be one year that his parents died.
