Chapter 621: The Heart of a Hero
Yamai Kazamachi, a selfless woman and also the spirit who most closely resembles the Hero of the Void.
If Kurumi was Yuki's female counterpart, then Yamai was the counterpart of the Hero of the Void.
Yamai, as a human, was a born hero.

As her consciousness began to fade, the first spirit appeared and gave her a Sephira Crystal to save her life. Mio did not want such a person to die since she was like her beloved, a selfless and gentle person.
However, in a rather unique way, the Sephira also reacted strangely with the DNA of her deceased twin, which had fused with her soul. A human body was not enough to withstand an angel as powerful as Raphael, causing the original Yamai Kazamachi to split into two.
The resulting twins, Kaguya and Yuzuru, inherited different aspects of the original's personality and preferences. Over time, both twins forgot their human lives and only remembered that they both originally came from a spirit called Yamai.
Later, the Yamai sisters became known among those aware of the existence of spirits because they often caused a great storm in an area, which occurred every time they came to Earth.
And their purpose was very simple: the Yamai sisters had been fighting each other for a long time with the sole purpose of deciding that the winner would become the true spirit of the storms.

Kotori, who had listened to Nia's entire introduction, nodded in understanding. Berserker was a name given because both were literally a storm and incapable of being stopped by normal means.
