"It's why we must hurry; the clan will be destroyed, and...!"
"Alright, alright... Calm down, my child. You've been through a lot."
Seeing how desperate Yuki was, the woman embraced him tenderly, gently stroking his hair, providing comfort.
Being back in his mother's embrace, Yuki felt incredibly happy and reassured. It had been four years since the last time he hugged his mother.
The peace he felt in her arms and the warmth were so comforting that Yuki couldn't pull away. As his mother's caresses increased, so did his drowsiness.
"La~ la~ sleep, my child~"
Before he knew it, his mother was singing a lullaby for him. Unfortunately, he couldn't afford to prolong this.
(No! I'm running out of time; I can't sleep!)
Waking up abruptly, Yuki still had too many questions to ask. He didn't yet know why his mother knew he came from the future and why she was waiting for him.
However, these questions could be answered later. The main focus now was to save his mother and the clan.
"Huh?!"
But before he could finish speaking, he lost connection with all his clones, as if something had forcefully destroyed each one of them.
He had sent his clones to continue the mission, but now they had all disappeared.
"You must be confused about your clones disappearing, correct?"
"..."
Once again, his mother responded. She smiled, placing both hands behind her back. Yuki, in turn, opened his mouth in surprise.
His mother's eyes had changed to those of the Sharingan. However, it wasn't a normal Sharingan; her pupils had changed to that of a small sun with multiple rotating blades around it.
"Mangekyou Sharingan..."
"That's right. I awakened these eyes when your father died."
Dropping her shoulders, the woman put a hand to her cheek and sighed. There were so many things and secrets she had hidden from her son.
Backing away slowly, Yuki swallowed hard. This was very strange; his mother never told him about these eyes, let alone the Dojutsu she possessed. But judging by the amount of chakra his mother emitted and the mystery surrounding her, Yuki deduced that it wasn't a weak one.
[Limits between Past and Future]
Suddenly Yuki felt a strange pressure; his body froze, and a translucent barrier appeared around him, forcibly separating him from the space he was in.
"Don't panic, my child. I won't harm you. However, I have to make sure you don't interfere with this timeline."
"What?!"
"Seeing you, knowing that you've grown up healthy and strong, is enough for me. At first, I had my doubts, but now I'm sure of my decision."
Joining both hands, the woman explained kindly. Her Mangekyou Sharingan possessed a very powerful Dojutsu...
The power to control the limit between all things, truly a terrifying Dojutsu in which his mother was invincible...
Or so she thought, as there was a price to pay, and that was that her vision would be severely affected, consequently leading to blindness...
However, thanks to this Dojutsu, Yuki's mother could learn many things about the future and the will of the world.
She knew exactly that her son would come to this timeline, and although she was unaware of his goal, after Yuki explained, she understood and made a decision.
"I miss your father a lot, and if it weren't for you, I would have committed suicide a long time ago."
After her husband died in the Kyubi attack, Yuki's mother had been dead inside. Unfortunately, her ability wasn't strong enough to bring her beloved back to life.
Fortunately, even though her soulmate had died, she didn't commit suicide because of her son and accompanied her husband in the afterlife.
"A life without your father has been very sad and painful, almost meaningless."
Shaking her head, Yuki's mother sighed and recalled various scenes from the past.
"But I'm happy to know that my son has done very well during my death. You saved humanity and the world; I'm truly proud of you."
With the worlds of Guilty Crown and Mirai Nikki, the woman assisted and swelled her chest proudly. She had given birth to a Champion.
This alone was worth every moment she spent by her son's side, without her husband's help...
"I don't understand... What are you trying to say?"
With trembling lips, Yuki had a bad feeling. His mother suddenly talking about his father and then talking about his title confused him, besides being locked in this barrier.
"I'm going to die."
"Ah?!"
"I no longer need to be by your side, Yuki. My death is necessary to awaken your memories and move on with your life."
"What?! Who said I don't need you? I need you a lot! I need you so much that I've come all the way here for you! You're very important to me, Mother!"
"I'm important, but not indispensable, Yuki. There are things that cannot be changed, such as my death."
"Of course, they can be changed! Everything in this life can be changed. I can change your fate, Mom. If you're worried that the future will change, I can fix it. You don't need to tell me these things."
"No, they can't be changed. My death is not only a trigger to awaken your memories but also to maintain balance in this timeline and avoid a collapse. Did you know that? It's easy to change the future, but it's not easy to restore it to its original state. Your plan might work, but the chances of failure are high. And if you fail, the events that were supposed to happen won't occur, such as your memories and travels to other worlds."
Shaking her head, Yuki's mother was thinking about the greater good. Her death could prevent major catastrophes like the destruction of humanity in the Guilty Crown world and the destruction of the Mirai Nikki world, not to mention Hestia and the girls.
Yuki's mother couldn't avoid the awakening of the Champion, as it was a necessary being for the balance between Order and Chaos.
"But I can fake it! I can still awaken my memories!"
Even if that were the case, Yuki was prepared for it. Faking his mother's death would have the same impact on his 'self' from this time.
Unfortunately, his mother shook her head again.
"You don't understand, my child. I want to be with your father again. Having you with me is what keeps me alive, but now I know that I'm just a lock holding back your true potential. You need to grow, my child, and for that, you don't need me. Children will only grow big and strong when they separate from their parents."
"..."
"And even if you can prevent your father from dying, going back in time to live as a happy family will only create more holes in the space-time that will be disastrous in the future. I don't want to be the cause of your suffering."
Creating timelines was something that had to be avoided to maintain Order and prevent Chaos from invading this world. The Will of the world would avoid this singularity at all costs, even though Yuki was a Champion; he was too weak to fight a Level 5 battle, a world destroyer. He wasn't ready to create parallel worlds and fight for them.
For that, Yuki would need to awaken the Demon King. However, the Demon King is a Chaos Destroyer, an avenger of Order.
He won't leave anything to chance, he will sweep away all life on the planet until Chaos no longer exists.
"Hm? I think the time has come."
Suddenly, several sounds of clashing weapons were heard, as well as the screams of several people.
Itachi and Tobi had started the massacre.
Smiling tenderly, Yuki's mother turned around and walked towards her destiny.
"When all this is over, keep my Sharingan. I would like to see your adventures with my own eyes. This is my last gift to you, my child. I know you'll use it well."
"No! Mother, stop! Trust me, I can do it! I'll succeed! I promise! I won't change the future!"
Despite his pleas, Yuki's mother didn't stop. She continued walking until she encountered a mysterious masked man.

TN: Unnecessary. Could have just revived his mother :(
