While Del is on his way home he heard something, a scream from somewhere and by the time it reached his ears the sound became very low .

He concentrate all his focus on hearing the screams again and this time he heard it and barely distinguished the words that came from it "Help please" it's not in the house he thought he once again tries to find the source of the screams

Shery is a 9 years old girl living in the streets where no one wants to adopt her ,she's very thin and frail and there is a 2 red horns in her head .She was a Half Demon because demons wants to create succubus that can charm the inhabitants of this world they tried capture some women of the inhabitants and force them on their low ranking demons. Shery was a girl born from them her mother was an S Class Elf who's team guards an entrance on the underground.

One day countless Demons attacked them killing the men and capturing the women ,and her mother was one of their captives. She didn't understand why? her mother is strong capable of escaping from the grasp of the demons but because she wants to buy time for the others to escape ,She fought to the point that she exhaust her mana and her stamina that's why she got captured.

Her Mother gave birth to her a year after of that incident . She received love from her mother even though half of her came from a race that her Mother despises . The demon also tried to kills her the moment she was born because she is a failure she didn't manage to become a succubus for their race.

Fortunately her Mother manage to bring her out from the demons they've been hiding in the underground for 7 years until they found an entrance but unfortunately for her, Her Mother who is a strong woman almost her entire life didn't make out alive because of hunger ,She gave all the food she had on her inventory to her child for 7 years, And for 7 years she is enduring the pain of having an empty stomach and to make things worse she had to fight countless of time in order for her child to live. The moment that they got out of the underground her mother's body fell down "Shery this map shows you the way through Maynilad ,Mother can't accompany you any more ,I'm sorry Shery it's time for me to rest".

With tears in her eyes watching her mother die and with her little arm and body she drags her mother's body until she found a hidden place to bury her mother . With her capabilities she only manage to dig 3 feet under the ground ,She buried her mother and move the plants in her surroundings to the place where her mother is buried and she left .

She thought that the inhabitants will warmly accepts her like her mother said but contrary to their expectation she was ridiculed, Discriminated, and sometimes bullied by the people they thought who will save her, From the people who once became their hope for survival became the existence of another despair in her heart.

And here she was after 2 years she lived in the streets , and alleys ,She didn't want to die her mother sacrificed so much for her in order for her to have a good life and because of that everyday in her life she goes through people's trash to find something to eat. Everyday for survival she tries to find a way to prolong her suffering and everyday of her life she will cry because of the sadness that she can't bury in her heart anymore

Until today a masked man approach her knocked her out and the next thing she knew they were in a very hidden alley ,"Please don't kill me" She begs for her life the moment she woke up and found the man holding a knife pointing towards her body.

"Tell me what's the point of living this far ,If everyday of your life you suffer things worse that death itself" The masked man asked her curiously

"I don't want to meet my mother" Shery said

The masked man was confused by her answer so he asked again "And why you don't want to meet your mother?"

"I don't want to disappoint mother, She gave everything to me in order for me to live "Shery then burst out crying from sadness

If anyone can see the face of the masked man they will found out that right now after hearing what the little girl said a huge creepy smile emerged from his face

"Because of your words , I want to see you suffer more ,I want to kill you, I want to kill a person who's been saved by a life of others and I want to kill you to satisfy me"

Shery screamed after hearing that even after all the horrible things that the people did to her ,She still hoped that someone will save her

The masked man then holds her horns and his arms and then was going through all the parts of her body. it's like a butcher inspecting the meat that he was about to butcher.

Shery screams very loud she didn't stop and the man also didn't stop her ,Her scream makes him happy and satisfied and the more she screams the more the man wants her to scream.

"That's right "He maniacally laughed and it scares Shery "That's right scream ,Beg for your life hahahaha until you drowned in despair and the hope in your heart will little by little disappears replace by agony and despair that I created" He started to laugh ,This is the feeling that he loves it was to make someone suffer .

Then he tries to cut a finger of her to find out how will she react to the pain that he will give to her . But before manage to do that he sensed something coming towards his back and he immediately dodged to the side and goes around his attacker.

Shery stopped screaming when she notice that the man stopped grabbing part of her body then she suddenly found out that a little child who's about a year older than her standing before her.

"Don't worry child I heard your scream ,your safe right now" the Boy said to her while staring her eyes and finally after a long time she found comfort on a presence that is near her , She didn't know why that even if the masked man was also there but with the presence of the newcomer she now feels that it is now okay she was now safe .

She closed her eyes she was tired of screaming her throat hurts very much there is blood on the corner of her mouth and finally she can rest because finally she felt that someone has Finally saved her
