Shery

After 2 hours Shery wokes up and find his saviour sitting beside the bed he was laying at looking at her.

"Are you okay?" Del looks at Shery and smiles.

Shery felt a warm feeling in her heart this is the first time someone smiles at her . Usually when people met her they look at her with disgust and sometimes hate ,people like her are discriminated because they are half of the enemy of the inhabitants of this world.

"Yes I'm okay" Shery tries so hard to pronounce every word in which she stutter every time she spoke , She was very shy communicating with other people but she tried so hard because this is the first time someone beside her mother asked her if she was okay.

"I know you're hungry ,eat first and if you don't mind I'll ask you some questions later" Del then points at the food Alice made when she was waiting for Del to come home earlier, Because he thought that the girl must be hungry he want to give her some of it.

Shery was very happy at first before asking with a sad face "Can I really eat that " she points at the food at the desk near them .

Del nods "Yes of course, you can also ask for more if you're still hungry after eating" Del pats the little girl.

Shery then grabs the rice and puts it in her mouth , Del was shocked " what are you doing?" He suddenly ask

Shery got scared at his question she thens drop the rice and said "I'm very sorry, I will not do it again"

"No you did nothing wrong "Del then thought of something before asking "Do you know how to use this" Del points at the spoon and fork beside the plate

"No I'm very sorry " Shery thinks that Del will make her work using those items

"Ohh okay let me show you how " Del then explain how to use the spoon and fork then he starts to feed Shery .

"I think I can do it myself" Shery said very lightly

"It's okay eat" Del starts insisting. because when he looks at the little girl his heart breaks when he thought about how this girl manage to get through her life so he felt the urgency to teach her things.

Alice came back with a bag of clothes in her back she went to the room where the little girl were sleeping only to be surprise upon seeing Del feeding the little girl he saved "You must have enjoyed too much without me " She said

Del already sense that Alice already arrived "Did you buy some clothes?" he worriedly asked he was afraid that Alice might forgot to buy clothes for the girl .

"Fortunately I manage to find a store still open at this hour " Alice puts the bag on the ground near Del, She approached Shery and asked "Tell me what this boy did to you while I was gone?"

Del was speechless "Hey what did you think about me I will not do anything bad to a child"

"Said by another child" Alice replied and asked Shery again "This boy didn't bully you did he? tell me and I'll spank him if he did" Del then scuffed and thought just wait I will be the one who will do the spanking.

Shery shouted "No Ma-am , he didn't do anything , he was very nice to me" she shouted out of fear that her saviour will get punish if this lady misunderstood

Del was very proud and puts his hand on his waist and said "See I'm very nice"

After eating Del then asked "What's you name beautiful girl? "

"I'm Shery" Shery with her head down then replied

"Shery come with Alice so that she can help you clean up" Del said ,

"Okay "Shery was very shy but got up and follows Alice

Alice got to know of the innocence of Shery she didn't even knew how certain things in the house works ,She helps her bath and also spoke to her the usual cold face she shows to Del disappeared replaced by a warm smile while talking to Shery.

Giggles and laughter can be heard on the bathroom "Hmm glad to know they both got along" Del was very curious about something on Shery ,He is not very sure about it yet but if it's confirmed then he will have a talk tomorrow with the Alliance .

After a while Shery and Alice both came out of the bathroom ,When Del saw Shery he nods "Indeed you are very cute Shery" He smiles. Shery now wears a cute outfit all pink from top to bottom

"I- thank you" Shery blushes and looks down .

Alice then said " You sound like a malicious Kidnapper" Del eyes rolled back this girl always find a chance to make a bad remark about him.

"Get a rest first tomorrow We will ask you questions about what happened "Del said he plans to ask the girl right now but noticing she looks very tired that his heart can't take looking at the girl again.

"Don't sleep wait for your hair to dry up first" Del said before leaving the room with Alice .

Shery was very grateful at the two they looks at her with a very warm gaze and she sits at the bed ,She notice that the bed sheets,pillow case and blanket are all been replaced her then her face becomes very red , She must have dirtied those things earlier that's why Del replaced it while she was in the bathroom .

After a while Alice came back at her room with some books "Shery are you sleeping" She knocks at the door .

Shery got up and opened it finding Alice At the other side of the door carrying a bunch of books "Hello Ma'am " because she didn't know how to address Alice she just calls her Ma'am .

Alice smiles and asked "Do you know how to read" Shery nods even though she and her mother lived in a very dangerous place her mother didn't forgot to teach her to read by using the books she have on her inventory

"This books will keep you company while you are waiting for you hair to dry up" Alice smiles at Shery and put the books in the desk beside the bed ,then she pats Shery's head before leaving and closing the door.
