The smell of burning clothes made my body in shock, and jolted me awake and as I looked in the sun painted room it was different, it wasn't mine. My red blouse, and my knee torn blue genes were scattered on the floor, the carpet a pail blue look new, but as I got up I tumbled down to the floor. wondering what just happened a knock at the alarmed me, as fast and quietly as I could I pulled myself back on the bed and pretended to sleep. Peeking my eye just enough to see who was entering the room I found myself in, but startled to find the stranger sitting on the bench beside me before I blacked out, and there he was.
As he walked closer and closer, the creaking of the loose carpet sent shivers through my spine, till he was standing over me nearly made my skin crawl.
Tightening my eyes shut to hide the fear behind my eyes, suddenly a hand slowly slides down the left side of my face till I couldn't take it anymore and jumped up from the bed and ran to the other side of the room, panting, as my hands raised into fists, in shock the man looks at me with gentle eye's and a small grin,
" Hello Winter, it's nice to see you too."
Confused I asked,
" how do you know my name, and who are you?"
Getting up he looks at me,
" I am your husband Micheal, you might not remember me but we got married 8 years ago."
Frightened I put my back against the wall and sat down, holding my knees confused and scared. Micheal came and sat next to me,
" I know it's a lot to take in right now but until you understand our agreement your not allowed to leave!"
Looking terrified, wanting to remember what agreement I made with a sociopath, made my head hurt, feeling faint I tried to get up but stumbled back to the floor, Micheal noticed that I couldn't get up. Looking down at me he carefully picked me up but as he did I blacked out, and the last thing I remember was him saying,
" I still need the cure."
All other words were gone.
