Chapter 4

Hayate Yagami was nervous. He was sitting waiting for Present Mic to start his presentation on the Trials and unconsciously began to create sparks with his hands. "I'm not used to being surrounded by so many people," he muttered quietly.

WOOM

Before he could continue distracting himself, I could see the doors close and Present Mic clear his throat before starting to shout. "WELCOME EVERYONE TO THIS SHOW!" "COME ON, EVERYONE SAY HEEEY!"

I couldn't help but look around and see that, like me, the whole room was in dead silence.

Unaware of the lack of interest in his presentation, Present Mic continued with even more enthusiasm than before. "I HAVE CHILLS RUNNING DOWN MY SPINE, LISTENERS! VERY WELL..." He took a breath and began to speak again, "I WILL INFORM YOU OF HOW THIS WILL GO, ARE YOU READY!?"

There were probably a thousand people here and no one spoke, are they all, maybe in shock? I wanted to leave.

It's probably determined by the serial number we were given when we entered the facilities.

At that moment, before Present Mic could speak, one of the participants interrupted him. He was a young man with glasses and a fairly developed physique, quite stiff, Tenya Lida, or something like that, I don't remember much.

"Excuse me, may I ask a question?" Without giving Present Mic time to respond, he continued speaking. "IN THIS BROCHURE, IT CLEARLY MENTIONS 4 TYPES OF VILLAINS"

I couldn't help but frown at his attitude, both towards the School and Izuku, but before I could stand up and speak, Present Mic began to speak.

When Present Mic finished speaking, Tenya Lida bowed and spoke. "I see, I APOLOGIZE FOR MY RUDENESS! Thank you very much."

"WELL, WELL, I THINK THAT'S ENOUGH, I THINK IT'S TIME TO START!" At that moment, Present Mic opened his arms and continued. "AS A CERTAIN "HERO" NAMED NAPOLEON BONAPARTE ONCE SAID, TRUE HEROES NEVER CEASE TO IMPROVE IN THE FACE OF LIFE'S HARDSHIPS.

While walking, I could see many different people. Some of them were of different colors, had tails or horns, and had all kinds of quirks, but everyone here has the same goal, to become a hero!

"Oh?" When I arrived in my area, I saw Tenya holding Izuku's shoulder. It seemed like he wanted to approach Uraraka. Without much thought, I approached the two and removed Tenya's hand. "I think you should relax, friend. You don't want to meet me tense," unconsciously, my eyes sparked with electricity at that moment.

Without paying much attention, I took Izuku by the shoulder and we walked away. In the background, I heard murmurs coming from Tenya, but I didn't pay much attention to them.

And even though he was a bit rude, it's not that bad, he's just a little strict, but I don't think he's bad and..." While we were walking, Izuku started talking and ended up babbling nonstop.

"Izuku, right? I'm not ignoring him, I just choose not to listen. Stop worrying so much and focus on the upcoming test," at that moment, I saw Present Mic appear on top of a tower.

I smiled at that moment, seeing how the others were stunned. "It's started, Izuku! See you later if we play together!"

Without wasting any time, I activated my quirk and disappeared, not before hearing Present Mic again.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? IN A REAL BATTLE, THERE'S NO COUNTDOWN, RUN, RUN!"

While in Thunder Speed, my speed far exceeded that of most participants and "Villains." It wasn't very difficult for me to pass the test, but I didn't want to exceed myself. If I had been in another area, I probably would have let loose a bit, but at least Izuku had to get into YUUEI. I don't know the future of this world, and if there's one thing I know about anime, it's that the protagonist always has something necessary to defeat the villain. I prefer not to risk him not passing the test and not getting into YUUEI.

Even so, I remember clearly that I passed through Rescue Points, defeating the ZERO POINTER and rescuing Uraraka, so I wasn't holding back much when it came to scoring points with the normal robots.

Mezo Shoji: Quirk "Duplicate Arms"

His Quirk gives him a set of tentacles alongside his arms. He can transform the tips of these tentacles to replicate other parts of his body (e.g. mouth, ears, eyes). The duplicated body parts are more efficient than the originals.

"The ability to quickly get in and never be late to the act, Agility."

Tenya Lida: Quirk "Engine"

Manifests as automobile engines in each calf, granting high speed and extreme kicking power. Like a real engine, his Quirk requires the exhaust pipes on the back of his legs to remain unobstructed to function properly.

"The ability to face any obstacle with cool composure, Calmness."

Yuga Aoyama: Quirk "Navel Laser"

Allows him to shoot a powerful, bright laser from his navel. If he uses it too much, his stomach apparently collapses. Due to a birth defect, Yuga has very little control over his Quirk and needs to use a special belt to control it.

"And of course, pure and total ability, Talent."

Hayate Yagami: Quirk "Thunder Spirit"

Turns Hayate into a Thunder Man. Grants extreme speed, accelerated processing speed, ability to shoot electricity attacks and create constructs made of electricity. Also makes Hayate immune to physical damage."
