Chapter 16: Human Town (IV)

Morax just stared at the knights whose pointing their sword at him, like his not even bothered by the current situation.

"Hey! Are you three just here to cause us troubles?" I asked the knights.

"No, we're not," the knight in the middle replied as he unsheathed his sword.

"Can you repeat what you said just now?" I asked him to make himself more clear this time.

"We are here by the lord's order to bring you infront of him and become his 5th wife," the knight in the middle said.

"Then I refuse," I said.

"Oh, please don't misunderstood. The lord is not asking you, this is an order from the lord of this land himself," the knight in the middle said with a cocky attitude. But then suddenly, I heard a voice directly in my head.

[This won't end until the lord would say so.] It's the first time I've experienced it, but it feels nice feel when Morax is also connected in my thoughts. [We're not exactly connected, but I'm using Psychofusion on you right now.] Psychofusion? What's that? [It's a stronger version of mind reading and telepathy.] Then Isn't that the same as connected in my mind, though? [Well, I guess.]

I moved my eyes to left and right, I saw the knights and everyone else was frozen as if time wasn't ticking.

What happened to them and why can't I move my body? [Oh, that. I accelerated our thoughts while using Psychofusion, so that we can have this conversation for less than a second.] That's Super awesome! Oh, yeah. Why did you used psychofusion in the first place? You said something about the lord, right? [Yeah, I'm sure that the lord won't stop wanting you, so I thought we could go there and have a TALK with him, don't you think?] Your right, then let's do that.

Morax removed the acceleration, but not the psychofusion. I can tell that he didn't because I can still feel him in me~, that sounds dirty didn't it? [It is.] See, he's still there. Hehehe.

"I don't even know this lord of yours, so We rather meet him first," I said to the knights.

"Very well... But what do you mean by We?" Then again, it's the knight in the middle asked.

"Him," I said as I made a fist and pointed out Morax on my right side with my thumb.

"Oh, It's that the fool who thinks that he could get close to the lord's belongings," one of the knights said cockily as if they had just remembered about Morax.

"Why do he need to come along?" The knight in the middle asked.

"Well, he's my lover and I don't belong to your lord. But I belong to this man here," I said as I wrap Morax's arm with mines'.

"Are you saying that your not pure anymore?" The knight asked.

"Something like that," I said as I had a proud expression on my face.

"Either way, we'll send you to the lord. Follow me," middle knight said as he walks out of the hotel and we follow him to the lord mansion.

After arriving at the lord's mansion, we saw a white building. It's the downgraded version of the white house in a large margin, if I say so myself. We followed the knights inside, then again, it has a double automatic door entrance, light and air-cons inside.

Are these normal here? [Yes, it is.] As in this world? [Another yes for that.] Even though, I expected this world to have poor civilization.

Suddenly, I heard another voice in my head aside from Morax.

[H... He... Hel... Help... I..it hurts... P... please] What was that? It sounds like a child crying for help. [It's probably the Eldritch Sprout in this town.] Eldritch sprout? [It's a little saplings that contains an almost immeasurable amount of mana, it's also called as the child of the world tree.] [he... help... P] it's sounds like it's suffering, why is that? [Humans are using it as a source of mana for their technology to work properly.] [I...it hurts... pl... please... s... save me...] THEN THEIR TRASH!...

Morax keep on answering my questions as we head to a certain office, the lord's office.

"Inside of this room is the lord's office, the lord's currently in. So you better not act rudely, especially you fool," the knight who lead us here said as he glared at Morax upon saying the last part. The knight faced the door and knock.

*Knock* *knock* *knock*

"My lord, I have returned and brought her over. But there's a man that she insisted to come with her," the knight said after he knocked.

"Come in," a man's voice came out from the other side of the door. The knight do as the man said, he open the door, went inside, Morax and I, followed him in. We saw two man as we got in, one was standing aside behind of the other, he was an old man, whose hair was mixed black and white, he's also wearing a black outfit. I knew instantly from his appearance and the vibes his giving off, that he is a butler.

So that means, the man whose sitting is the lord huh. He has a brown spiky shaped hair and eyes, he is also wearing a formal blue long sleeve. Even without using my {Authentication} skill, I can tell that the guy... Is a trash.

"Please, take a sit," the brown spiky said. Morax and I sat down on a couch that's facing a table and another couch, the knight closed the door and stand infront of it. He probably won't let us escape here. Well, it's not like we can't, even if he did that and there's no need for us to escape.

Brown spiky stood up, he walked closer to us and sat down on the opposite couch.

"I am very happy that you two are here. By the way, my name is Zill Nafti, the current Lord of this land. I am the one and only prodigy in here, I have claimed the title of lord by defeating my father in the age of 14, I also did the same with my worthless brother," brown spiky introduce himself in a cocky tone.

Nafti? That sounds familiar somehow. But I can't remember, so it's probably not important for me to remember. [It's the knight from yesterday, his name is Gour Nafti.] Oh, it Gourilla's last name, so that's why it felt familiar. But it's not like his Important to remember. Let's continue on talking with brown spiky for now. [Um]

"What do you want from us?" Morax ask the brown spiky. The knight was now showing an anger expression and a clear sentence can be read on his face (I fucking told you to not act rudely, Fool!) Well, we just ignored him.

"Oh, straight to the point, are we?" Brown spiky asked playfully.

"We want to finish this fast, we still had things to do, after all," Morax just replied casually.

"Then I'll tell you. I want to marry your beautiful sister," brown spiky said as he completely misunderstood my relationship with Morax.

"Ah. You seems to be misunderstanding something, I'm not her brother," Morax said as he puts his hand on my waist and pulled me closer to him, then said.

"I'm her husband," the knight almost snap, brown spiky was dumbfounded and the butler has no reaction, I mean it make sense since a fantasy world's butler.
