I exclaimed after hearing a mesmerizing sound, a *ding*.
Of course, I'm taking about a computer game.

I read a lot of isekai manga and anime, and even flipped through a few novels in my days, so I'd go as far as to say that I know the basics of how being summed to another world works.
And it's pretty simple: step one - go to school.
Step two - hope that a magic circle decides to appear in your classroom.
Step three - ..there isn't one, it's just about luck I supposed.
Just for reference, I'm 17, the perfect age for being summoned.
So, why am I sitting at home playing RPGs when I could be at school patiently waiting to get summoned?
The school I go to got burnt down! If I were of any different age, that wouldn't bother me one bit, BUT I'm seventeen goddamnit!
In every manga or novel I've ever read, or in the countless anime I've watched, every single person get summoned at that age.
Uhh.
But getting triggered over it won't do me any good. Anyways, all this thinking got me a little hungry, plus I haven't even looked away from the screen for the past 2 hours, so I suppose a little snack won't do me any harm.
You may be wondering, why am I so confident that I will definitely be the of the people to get summoned?
Well, that's pretty simple. I look like every single protagonist that ever existed in isekai.
I'm short - 170cm to be exact -, I have black hair that goes down to just the right level, and my skin is just slightly less pale than white.

I come into the kitchen and reach for the light switch and just as I'm about to press it, I see that my fridge is.. glowing?
I don't remember that it had backlighting, but considering that I recently move into this home, I could have just forgotten.
Oh well.
Let's go take a look, just in case.
As I looked around and behind it, I realized something. The light it coming from inside.
As I placed my hand on the handle, a chilling yet pleasant feeling went through my spine, making me excited.
Am I.. excited to open a fridge?
Maybe I just started going insane, living alone a house.
I decided to ignore the feeling. My hand pulled on the handle, exposing a weird, ancient script looking thing. It was circular. And it was glowing..
Could it be?!
I felt my heart pumping blood through my whole body, making my whole body shake.
I started slowly reaching for the circle, unable to contain the adrenaline rush, which caused me to move unconsciously.
I finally put my hand onto the illuminated surface, and my vision went blank.
It wasn't instant, but a slow hazing, like the opposite of being sucked into an abyss.
A huge, wild grin emerged on my face as lost conscience.
It's real. I have been summoned.
