The Pleague of Death

"What? Are you serious!?"

"Well, the sun was going down when I came here. My bad."

"You know what I am about to take a bath and then sleep."

"Okay master Matthew."

Matthew took a bath and somewhere else in Gard there was a man that holding a woman by her neck and she was busting out tears and she looking at a man with such evilness in his eyes and he slashes her head off her body and her body fell down on the ground and the man was smiling with a big grin and he looks at the moon and he was ready to find more prey.

The next morning, Matthew had open his eyes and he was looking at something smooth and bouncy and he touches it and then he heard a moaning voice above him and it was Ivy holding him tight and she was still sleeping and he didn't want to wake her but he got up and he tries to go to the bathroom but then soon after he tries to open the door Ivy woke up.

"Where are you going after touching my boobs."

"Huh? Touch, what I touch? I didn't touch anything that was on your body."

"You funny. You know that."

"Yeah, but can you please not sleep in my bed with me again."

"Why that?"

"Because I still don't trust you."

"I see. So you still have it in your mind. I understand but don't talk to me like you crazy because I will think you are threatening me and I will think you are an enemy." Ivy said.

She walked out of Matthew's room and Matthew felt sorry but he barely knew anything about the current situation but he knew he must get over this fear. Ivy was putting on her clothes and she look out the window of the side and she notice that it was a murder and some elite guards from Ishtar.

"What are they doing here? I guess that damn hunter again."

Knock, knock. "Ivy, I want to say I sorry for earlier."

"It's okay, master Matthew."

"Now I want to visit some places so I can get an understanding of what I'm up against in this place."

"Okay. I show you. Come on and stay close."

They left the mansion and they went around to see the Gard in person and Matthew saw that there were different areas in Gard. The high-class, middle-class, and then the low-class and the high-class are being treated better and the low-class are being treated horribly.

They went to the low-class area of Gard and Matthew saw people killing each other over food and struggling to keep their houses up for their kids. Children being sick and have infected all over their body and Matthew couldn't help but think that his life is better than there and he thinks his problem is just too little than their problems and then Matthew has seen a woman crawling on the ground with tears in her eyes and she said, "help me".

"What are you doing Matthew?"

"I try to help her."

"Stop Matthew, you have no power and nothing to give her. So stop trying to get her hopes up because she is already dying. So please just stop because you making it worse."

"But what am I supposed to do? You want me to look at people dying. You want me to. Don't you?"

"No but you need to see what is going on and this was your idea so don't forget this. Take it in and use that against the person that did this to them."

"Okay. Let's just keep going."

"Okay."

They kept on walking down on a dirt path and he saw slave children that were in line and were tight by a rope and few of the children were blind and another child had a disease and her face was filled with black bumps all over her right side of her face and her eyes filled with nothing.

"If I knew that there are other worlds than mine then I would probably be more grateful about living instead of me looking at all this chaos. Ivy, tell me about Gard more."

"What do you want to know?"

"I know something from reading about it. I know that it's vampires in the forest and also werewolves too. I really want to know about the thirteen princesses more."

"There are few princesses that are with the harem king but some are against him. There are probably only three princesses that are against him."

"So out of thirteen, there are only three. Is that bad?"

"I don't know. Probably, because there is an army behind them and there are a lot of people that are high rank in their army and they are not easy to deal with."

"So I have to train quick and fast but first I need some help."

"I think the vampires might help you with that."

"Ight. Let's go then."
