It didn't take us that long to meander our way back to the station.
It was a nice walk, all things considered. With the moon hanging high in the sky and no clouds present we had a full view of the stars stretching out above without any of the light pollution that the old world would have had to have dealt with.
It astounded me that people used to go up there, to the moon, all those years ago before any of this had happened.
We made our way down into the abandoned tube tunnels, but while Greave and Allen went straight into the usual cubby, Lauren pointed toward a second cubby entrance across the rails.
I crossed the tracks, not bothering to dodge any of the rails considering the power to them was long since dead and walked through into a separate cubby area with a torch pointed out in front of me.
