18) Finding Sources Of Fun
'Woah?'
Gi Wan was impressed. The four gate skills he recieved are all great. One can store any mortal being you want. One can store any ascendent as long as they are an angel. One can store any ascendent as long as they are a demon. And the other can store any ascendent as long as they are neither an angel nor a demon.
'The last gate seems to be the most amazing, considering it is a reward that I recieved after reaching 100% proof and it also has no limit to the number of spirits you can store. The qualification to enter it are really high though...'
"There he goes spacing out again."
Gi Wan could hear Rai grumbling.
"Sorry, I was glancing at my status screen for a bit."
"Did you get some new skills or something?"
"Well, yeah..."
"Wow, it's so nice to be an apostle huh? Let's leave. I'm pissed off right now."
Said Lucy.
'Pissed off? About what?'
Gi Wan realized it after a moment. It is generally hard to get skills and there is no guarantee that they would get a skill even if there is a way to learn it.
"Yeah, it sure is~"
"Fuck."
"Get ready."
Rai said that as a door appeared infront of them.
"Fine, let's go."
Gi Wan, Lucy, Rai and Kart. All four of them moved through the door and entered the fourth dungeon. This time they saw an orc commander and around 10 orc swordsmen gathered at a place and moved together. It seems that the difficulty rose up drastically once again.
"Let's split up."
All the four of them went different directions after Gi Wan said that. Gi Wan soon found another group of orcs.
"Let's see..."
Previously, Kart killed the orc commander in a single hit. However, it isn't that easy to kill an orc commander. Although it is well known for it's CC (Crowd Control) skills, it also had high stats regardless. Gi Wan chose to analyze the strenght of the orcs and then dash forward. The orc commander seemed to be commanding the orc swordsmen skillfully as they co-ordinated really well with each other and made combination moves that almost seemed to be unblockable and unavoidable. However, their movement patterns became clear after a while. Gi Wan skillfully parried their individual attacks rather well too.

Gi Wan quickly changed his aura's shape between sword and spear to attack the orcs. He used the sword to parry the attacks of the orcs and spear to stab them as it had pretty long range.

"Sighhhhhhh"
It took Gi Wan 20 minutes to take down the group. Although he took longer because he analyzed the movements of the orcs, he thaught he wouldn't be able to defeat them within 10 minutes even if he fights seriously.

However, it seemed that his skill masteries are also leveling up rather well.
'Alright, guess I should try it.'
Gi Wan extended his arm towards the disappearing bodies of the orcs.
「Activating the skill 'Gate For The Dead'」
He is testing out his new skills.
「The activation if the skill 'Gate For The Dead' has been canceled as there is no target that fullfills the required conditions.」
'Just like I thought.'
The skill did not activated because the regular mobs are just summoned creatures rather than living ones. So they cannot be dead nor can be considered ascended to activate the other gates.
'Well I will just focus on clearing the dungeon for now.'

It took three whole days for Gi Wan to finish sweeping his side and return.
"Oh my! Why is our super strong apostle the last one to finish clearing his portion?"
It seems that other party members already swept their sides and were waiting for him.
"Sorry, I didn't really have any methods to kill a whole group at once. That's why it took time."
"No problem, we used this time to increase our mana and aura levels."
"I see."
"Heh, I am a 4th circle now."
"Woah"
It was truly astonishing. It is an unbelievable achievement to become a fourth circle mana user in a few days after the unification started.
"She is an unprecedent genius."
Rai said that with a serious face.
"Heh, I know that."
Lucy laughed it off and everyone suddenly stopped talking. It seems Gi Wan is the one responsible for this situation. He spaced out again starting at his past messages.

"That's simple. We will have to face all the four gaurdians at once before entering the boss room."

"So prepare yourself."
"Ugh. I won't be the meat shield though. I can use a fireball without the grimore within twenty seconds you know?"
"Yeah, don't worry."
The party moved towards the boss room where they saw four orcs as huge as Kart each holding a sword and shield.
"They are the 'Gaurdian Orcs'. Although they don't have ridiculous strenght like the other orcs, they are tenacious and they will be really annoying since their strenght is high enough to kill normal humans in a single blow. Although I can take around three hits and Lucy can just stay behind her puzzle pieces..."
"Hey, my pieces needs 24 hours to regenerate after being destroyed once you know?"
"Then just stay behind us and attack."
"Yeah, sure!"
Lucy seemed to be excited since this will be her first time fighting like a proper mage in a party like she did in those video games. Although it is weird, the world really changed and people must have started to find their own sources of enjoyment in this world.
