-Kai's Room-

Kai sat up on his bed and peered at the wall in the darkness of his room,(What time is it he thought) he looked down to see the time saying 2:41, With motionless jump stood up and felt the ache of his body from spending a whole day an a half in NTO, so he opened his door and looked out into the hallway.

The air felt different than it usually did when he would get up in the middle of the night and get something to eat. His grandma's door was open, but she was not in it, so he called out to her (GRANDMA!!!!, GRANDMA!!!!) no response.

Hence, he went down the stairs slowly until he reached the bottom of the stairs, looked out into the darkness, and didn't see or hear anything, so his feet tracked over to the switch and flicked it on, Then he saw her His Grandmother passed out at the kitchen floor.

He dashed out towards her grabbing her arm and feeling it weightless and dropping back down, Panic started to set in. He Dashed around an ran up the stairs into his room and grabbed his phone and dialed 911

(Hello this is the police department how may I help you the operator began her dialog) The words stuttered out Kai's mouth(my my my Grandmother is unconscious and not moving to Send Help now he shouted)

He gripped the phone and flew back down the stairs (Sir Sir Sir can you hear me, Help is on the way, but because of the snow it will take them a few minutes) Kai looked at the phone then back at his Grandmother laying on the floor.

(She doesn't have a few minutes I don't know how long she's been like this...

The doctors, nurses littered hallways, and the beeping and buzzing of the machines have kept him awake while he waited for the Doctor to come and inform him about what is being done to his Grandmother.

After hearing the words from the doctor David face became ghostly he could not process what he had heard, Kai just stood there with a blank expression, and one thought came to his mind,(I was playing a game, What type of Grandson am I he thought).

(Sir, Sir, Sir, are you OK?) The Doctor called out to him be the words did not reach. (Would you like to see her Mr. Maxwell) Kai looked up and nodded; the Doctor ushered him down the hallway, and while they were walking, he lifted his head and saw a room door with the name Rosa on it, and the door was cracked open.

There was a female laying in the bed with a sheet of plastic draped around the bed and a Nexus gear on her head, but he paid it no mind and kept walking until they reached the room where the held his Grandmother.

Kai stood at the doorway and peered in on his Grandmother dressed in a pick robe laying with her eyes shut, her body laying there with the stiff sight of lifelessness. The Doctor couldn't do a thing but walked away after seeing Kai stopped at the doorway, The feeling of a thick throat and watery eyes came rushing down Kai's face he stepped in strolled up to the side of his grandma's bed and looked down...

Ahhh grandma, I'm so so sorry I wasn't there for you; you were always there for me, and the one time I should have been there for you, I wasn't. I hope you'll forgive me one day.

(The tears start pouring downs his cheek, and his knees became weak and weren't able to hold him up anymore) You held us together, and without you, I don't know what I'm going to do, PLEAAAAASE WAKE UP (Silence fell over the room and all you could hear was the tears hitting the ground and David clutching the sheets) Don't leave me too grandma not you don't leave me.

Well, sir, the thing is your Grandmother blood type is AB negative, and the situation is there's a patient here with the same blood type, but we won't be able to keep her alive for much more longer so what I'm asking Before she could finish her sentence Kai turned and walked back in the hospital room and slammed the door in her face)

Kai stood atop the roof of the hospital and looked up at the moon and just stared at it the moon and shook his head as the tears tumbled down his face. (What should I do Grandma he spoke out loud looking to the sky) He felt nothing but the cold air and the sounds of the world rushing by a bellow.

Doc, is there no way to wake her from her coma?
