_23_5_12_3_15_13_5_20_15_20_8_5_19_20_1_18_20 (probably not totally accurate but it's an important clue for the story. You have to figure out what it says, Though if you can't then you can ask me) Zhao Liang and Jinru are brothers who don't remember much of their 15 years of life. They haven't had anyone but themselves for as long as they can remember. So what happens when you put two damages and traumatized boys in a horror along with other damaged and traumatized people? Simple. Chaos. [This is an original story, I got most of my ideas from a bunch of different Unlimited Flow novels. They are the best. Anyways, I hope you Enjoy!!]

In a large, bright living room that had ceiling-to-floor windows instead of walls, there were 7 people scattered around the gigantic room with green curtains and two tall bookshelves.

Sitting together on one of the dark red couches near one of the bookshelves were two young boys, one looking older than the other.

Next to the red couch, there was a similar red chair that was currently occupied by two males, the smaller male sitting on the taller and muscular males lap as they whispered sweet nothings back and forth.

A little further away, on a light green couch sat an old man with white hair and a teenage girl with long black hair.

And the last person, A young boy with short black hair, was trying to open the glass doors that led out of the room, but he had no luck with them.

Giving the doors one last hard yank, the boy gave up and walked away from the double doors. He walked over to a glass table and sat on it, as there were no other seats available.

"It's locked, there's no way we're getting out through there." The boy announced with a sigh as he rubbed his sore hands, "Well, what should we do? We can't just stay here, we don't even know where here is." The teenage girl said, her voice raising a decibel.

"Yeah, well you try to open that door then if you're so desperate to get out." The boy told her, but smirked when he saw her stay silent and in her seat, "Yeah, that's what I thought."

"So what do we do then?" The girl questioned him, "I don't know. Wait till someone comes and unlocks the door, I guess."

"But who knows how long that could be! I don't have time to be sitting here!" The girl shouted, startling a few people in the room. "Calm down, Getting angry won't do anything to help us. It'll only make the situation worse. Why not try to look for something hard or sharp and break through the door? Try to use your head a little before you go randomly yelling at people., Lady." The boy said to her, his tone calm and almost relaxed.

"Why do I have to do it? Why not you?" She asked him, "Because I have nowhere to be right now. I've got a lot of free time on my hands." He answered, with a smug smile playing on his lips.

The girl stood up, and started searching for something that could be used to break through the glass door. She stopped however, when she realized that she was the only one searching.

"What are you all doing? Why aren't you helping me look?!" She exclaimed, but got no answer as the only one paying attention to her was the boy sitting on the table. The girl looked around at the people, observing them so she could determine who would be the most easy to convince.

Her eyes landed on the two young boys still on the couch, they had yet to say anything to anyone. They were just huddled together in silence, their eyes wandering around the room in awe.

The girl walked over to the two and crouched down on the floor in front of them,

"Hello there." She greeted them, a gentle smile gracing her face. The two kids on the couch looked at the girl, the older one with light red hair frowned and scooted closer to his brother.

They both then ignored her, going back to looking around the room. The black haired boy burst out laughing, doubling over and clutching his stomach. The girl looked speechless by that reaction, she gritted her teeth and stood up. She gave the brothers one last glance before moving on to another target, the old man.

WHile she was doing that, The black haired boy ceased his laughing and walked over to the brothers. He stood in front of them with a hand outstretched towards the oldest brother, "Hi, I'm Anquan. Nice to meet you." He had a small smile on his face as he waited patiently for a response.

The older brother looked at the black haired boy for a good second, watching the boy's hand and then searching his eyes for anything bad. When he was certain that the boy in front of him had no bad intentions, he slowly raised his hand and placed it on Anquan's.

"Zhao Liang." Was all the boy said, shaking Anquan's hand slightly before quickly letting go and becoming silent again. The young brother sighed, shaking Anquan's hand too, "I'm Jinru. I'm sorry for my brother's silence. He doesn't like talking a lot.

It's nice to meet you too." The younger brother also had light red hair, which was rare for a Chinese person but it also made them look unique.

"That's alright, you two don't happen to know where we are, do you?" Anquan asked them, leaning against the table behind him. Jinru shook his head, "No, I'm sorry. We just woke up here like you all did. It was weird, we were just on our way home from school when he suddenly fell asleep and woke up here."

"It's okay, I was just asking. I was walking home with my friend when it happened to me. I'm just glad that I've got people my age to talk to." Anquan smiled brightly, Jinru returning the smile with his own small own.

Then, all of a sudden, there was a loud groan filled with irritation coming from the other side of the room. It was the girl, she was still alone so it looked like her plan to convince others to help her failed.

"What's wrong? Can't find anything useful?" Anquan mocked her, watching her turn around and glare harshly at him. "Oh shut it, will you brat?" Anquan raised his brow but didn't say anything back.

Then, abruptly the power shut off, Cloaking the room in darkness. A few people started making a fuss, like the couple and the girl. The old man and brothers were as silent as ever.

Anquan made sure to stay by them, in case something happened and something did indeed happen.

The doors that were previously locked opened up, a freezing breeze billowing inside the room. A bunch of dust was blown everywhere, obstructing their view of whoever came inside the room.

Once the dust had settled, though, they were all able to see who had arrived. It was a tall, cloaked person with bandages wrapped around their hands. In their bandaged hands, they were holding a silver tray that had 7 letters neatly placed in a row.

A confusion arose, so did a loud eccentric voice, <Welcome, My children! To the World of Night Terror's!! Where your worst fears can come to life! Please, step up and grab an envelope! That way we can begin the first game!>

No one moved, the air almost as still as them. Everyone was debating on what to do, when Zhao Liang suddenly stood up and walked over to the tray. He stood in front of it for a second, looking at the hooded figure before grabbing an envelope and walking back to the couch.

Zhao Liang didn't say anything, he just opened his envelope and read what it said.

—----------------------------------------------------------------

< I, the Terror master, would like to welcome and congratulate you for being qualified to enter the World of night terrors.

There are three ways to be qualified for such an honor,

                           1. You have committed a horrible crime

                           2. You live a life full of terror already

                           3. ???????

I'm sure you are confused, so I'll explain a little.

The world of Night terrors is a dreadful place to end up in. It feeds on people's worst fears and projects it into "Real life" as a game where you must survive the night or solve the game.

The way to solve the game varies from fear to fear, there is no one way to correctly solve it.

But there are some regulations that everyone in the world of night terrors must follow. They are as listed:

         1. Don't attack npc's under any circumstances.

                                2. Always follow the npc's command

                                3. Do not attack your teammates unless necessary

                                4. Do not destroy game set

If you fail to follow these 4 simple rules, then you will be met with a severe punishment. There are different levels to the punishment,

                          1. Easy: You will be locked in a dark room for 30 min.

                           2. Mild: You will be tied and gagged in the room for 1 hour.

                           3. Hard: You will relive your worst fear for 2 hours.

                           4. Nightmare: You will be drugged with a hallucinogen for 3 hours.

That is all i can tell you for now, I hope you have a horrendous time here in The world of Night terrors.

  Signed: The Terror Master. >

Once he was finished reading it, he realized that there was something else in the envelope. He shook the envelope and out fell a card. It was about the size of a poker card. On it was a single word, Detective. The rest of the card was blank.

Zhao Liang then set the card down, before looking up and realizing that everyone was looking at him. He tilted his head, scrunching up his brow. He looked over at Jinru, who at some point also grabbed an envelope.

"Well?! What does it say!?" The girl shouted, making Zhao Liang flinch as he looked over at her. He didn't say anything and just stared at her for a few seconds before opening his mouth, "It was a welcome letter . . . . And an identity card." Zhao Liang told her, his face still void of any emotion.

The girl looked at him with doubt, like she didn't trust him. "What does your card say? Say it outloud." She told him, Distrust very visible in her eyes. Zhao Liang was still staring at her, ". . . Detective." He finally answered.

"Detective? WHat's that mean?" The girl asked but Zhao Liang just shrugged and stopped talking, the tension returned and it was extremely uncomfortable. Jinru awkwardly smiled before he spoke up, ". . .Um, well my card say's Citizen. I think the cards may be our identities in this "Game". We all need to pick an envelope and get a card to be able to start the game."

Anquan nodded his head "I agree." He said before walking over and taking an envelope, the rest of them soon followed after him with the girl being the exception.

"This is ridiculous! I don't have time to play a game! Let me out!!" The girl yelled as she raced over to the cloaked figure, she pleaded with them but they didn't give her answer. They only moved the tray closer to her so that she could take the last envelope settled on it.

The girl just slapped the tray away from her, the tray falling out of the figure's hand and onto the floor. She had hatred and irritation clouding her eyes as she gritted her teeth and shouted as loud as she could, "FUCK THIS PLACE! THIS GAME! THIS W-WHATEVER! I WANT OUT!!!!!!"

Zhao Liang and Jinru jumped at her voice, scooting closer to each other. They covered their ears because the girl was just screaming over and over that she wanted to get out, that she had to go home. . . . But the cloaked figure was just passively standing their as if they weren't even here.

Finally, the girl just broke down sobbing on the floor. Her eyes were wide and almost had a crazed look to them, she was breathing quite heavily as she lifted her head up. She looked around the room with glazed brown eyes, they were searching for something, anything that could end this quickly.

Finally her eyes landed on the glass table, more specifically the sharp corner to it. She crawled over to it, ignoring the eyes that followed her as she did so. On her face, there grew a wide, psychotic smile before she slammed her head right into the corner.

"LET ME GO HOME!!!!! I NEED TO GO!!!"

There was screaming and she felt arms wrap around her own but she shoved them away and continued slamming her head down. Blood splattering everywhere, and the more arms trying to get her to stop, but she shoved them away again.

"LET ME OUT!!! LET ME LEAVE!!!!"

With one last thrust of her head, it split in half and she was dead.

And with that, silence.

No more screaming or shouting or protests.

Just silence.

The 6 other players were horrified, there was blood pooling everywhere and brain matter spilling from the girls head. The hooded figure was the first to move, it bent down and picked up the tray and envelope from the ground.

<Uh-Oh! It seems like there's been an accident! Oh well, We'll just replace her with an NPC! Everyone, please a little bit and sorry for the inconvenience!>

And after that, silence again.

The hooded figure then walked out, leaving the body where it was.

No one knew what to say, even the couple had stopped being all lovey-dovey. Everyone looked green in the face, "I'm gonna throw up, Why would they just leave the body here with us?" The smaller of the couple suddenly said, before standing up and quickly rushing over to a garbage can on the opposite side of the room.

The old man didn't have much of a reaction but he looked sick as he closed his eyes and resumed his silence. The bigger of the couple rushed over to his lover and rubbed their back.

Anquan, who also felt like throwing up, looked at the kids on the couch. He saw them trembling heavily, squeezing each other's hands tightly with their eyes closed shut.

He felt bad for them, after all they were 3 or so years younger than him.

He stepped closer to them and leaned down a little bit so he could hug their heads.

"It's okay, just don't look anymore." He muttered to them, feeling them clutch at his shirt.

A few minutes passed by when the door opened up again, grasping the 6 players' attention. They watched the door, and watched as an identical version of the girl walked into the room.

The girl had a smile on her face and almost seemed . . .  Fake.

Behind the girl came a few NPC's wearing black cloaks, they walked up the dead girl's body and dragged the girl out by her arms. They all watched it, the tension could be cut with a knife, until the body was dragged out of the room and the door was closed.

The silence was restored once again until the NPC girl spoke up, "Hello everyone! I am Jian Yu! Pleasure to be playing with you!" She said in happy yet somehow monotonous voice, the smile on her face never faltering. It just made her look all that more creepy.

"Right." Anquan was the one who spoke up first, "Since we're all here, what do we do next?"

As if on queue, the eccentric voice reappeared, <Well, now that everyone is here, we can start the Game!!>

What no one realized at the time,

Was that their lives were entrangeld with

Something dangerous

And all their secrets and fears were about to Spread their wings and fly.
