The minions follow after their boss, falling to the ground as the last bit of life is snuffed out. That they remained standing even after having their insides burned shocks me.
I'd paused time the moment the man reached for his weapon and distributed to each their fair of death. I catch myself in the line of thought, my eyes fixed on the warm albeit limp bodies of my targets.
My gut and throat tense up, I feel it coming. Pause!
Barely managing to get myself under control, talk less of time around me. I stumble over to the table, grab the paper bucket and empty my stomach in it.
Once I'm done I leave them and sit in a different booth, catching my breath. I'm glad I can at least manage this, a break to catch my breath. The endless screaming from the customers didn't help either so I'm glad to be free of it.
But I'm not all free yet.
"You should come out, I can sense you." I mutter, whiping my mouth "And bring me some soda will you?"
