Chapter 36: The Jealousy

After the unexpected meeting, they resume back again to their activity. While waiting for another solution, some of them recharged their power back and did something else to kill their own time.

Meanwhile, Dylan who still has his eyes on Delilah looks a little tense at that moment. That was because he saw Delilah and Larry were having a happy conversation and his jealousy was shown on his face.

Delilah and Larry were talking on the balcony outside while Dylan was standing rightly in front of the door while crossing his arm. He looks at both of them with a frown. He wants to go near them but his heart doesn't want because of his pride.

He was fighting with his own heart and his mind. He talks to himself while holding his outrage. Suddenly, Abner appears behind. He slowly whispered to him and said, ''Dylan, I think...this is your real rival rather than me...'' Abner said and chuckles softly.

He turns toward Abner and looks at him with an angry face. ''I'm just...curious...''

''What the thing that you curious?? Tell me. I can help you out.''

''How to kick you out!''

''What?! Dylan, I'm helping you right now. If you didn't take any action, you will...!'' Abner can't finish his word when Dylan immediately walks away from him and move forward toward Delilah and Larry.

He was shocked and at the same time, he laughs. He knows that he will be doing something unexpected like this. That is because, he is Dylan, the cold extraordinary guy!

''Hey, what are you doing? What are you laughing for?'' Emma approaches him from the back.

''Nothing. Just watch something that made my day happier.'' Abner replies while laughing.

''What?? I don't understand. Did I miss something?''

''I told you later. Come, let's go out!''

''Right now?? But-we...!''

''Emma, don't worry. I already inform your aunty and she approved it. Let us go!'' He quickly grabs her hand and brings her out of that house.

''What?? Abner, wait...!'' Emma was speechless and clueless. She didn't know what to do and she just only can follow him to know about everything that she was curious about right now.

On the other side, Delilah and Larry are still in their conversation. While Dylan can't hold his heart anymore, he immediately walks toward them. His face already looks annoyed to see both of them.

He stands between Delilah and Larry while crossing his arm with a fierce face. Delilah was startled when she saw him standing there like he want to kill someone. She quickly comes closer to Dylan and grabs his hands. She can feel that he wants to do something to him.

''D-Dylan...'' Delilah a little stutter. But, Dylan just kept his eyes toward Larry only. His eyes gaze are full of envious.

''Mr. Dylan, what can I help you? Why do you look so tense?'' Larry asks and smirks.

''Because of you!'' Dylan replied with a short answer but profound.

Larry suddenly laughed and slowly shook his head. Delilah standing between them slowly pulled the end of Dylan's shirt and gave a whisper. ''Dylan...can we talk later? I still have a thing to talk about with Larry.''

''No! I want you to come with me, right now!''

''B-but, I...!''

''Delilah Leah, let's go date!''

''Huh?!'' Delilah was shocked. Her heart almost jump out of her body when she heard him saying that word. She stood there dumbfounded.

Without wasting time, Dylan walks toward Lilian and grabs her hand. He takes her walk with him out of that house. They just walk out from there without giving any glance toward Larry. Lilian couldn't say anything and just follow Dylan's step from behind.

After a long journey, both Delilah and Dylan arrive at a somewhere unknown place. They have arrived at a place called Inspiration Peak of Love. It took them an hour to get into the place.

As soon as they arrived there, Delilah was a little stunned. She looks around at the surroundings and observes all the place with her wild eyes. She wondered about that place and at the same time, she look at Dylan with a curious.

Without a word, Dylan slowly walks closer to her and he grabs her hand gently. She still standing there dumbfounded. She makes a frowning while looking at him clueless.

''D-Dylan, where did you bring me? Where are we right now??'' She wondered with a worried face.

''Into my world.'' He reply with a short answer and smirked.

''W-what?? What do you mean by that?'' She keeps asking him while gripping his hand tightly.

Dylan laughs a little and said, ''Don't tell me you want to use your power on me right now. It's not gonna be working, dear.''

''You better tell me the truth. Where are we right now? And why are we here??''

''To have a date!'' He said while raising his eyebrow.

''Huh? A date? Are you serious, Dylan?''

''Did you see I'm laughing right now?''

''Err-um...''

''You're scared?''

''I'm scared?? Nope!''

''So, why does your face look a little tense?'' He said while lowering his face toward her. Her face becomes red as she feels blushing when his face closer.

Delilah can't hold her feeling anymore and she quickly pushes his body away from her. She doesn't want him to feel her feeling at that time. Because her heartbeat was moving faster right now.

Her hand and body suddenly feel cold. She didn't know what happened but, lately, whenever she was closer next to him, her body give a different kind of reaction.

''Leah, are you okay?? Your face looks a little strange.'' He asks while touching her face. Then, he rubs her cheeks gently and he can feel that it was cold.

''Are you cold? Do you sick??'' He said in worried.

''No. I'm okay. It's normal. I mean...sometimes, I just feel...like what you see me right now.'' She said in a soft voice while avoiding his deep gaze.

''Sometimes? What do you mean by that? Is that a bad thing?'' Dylan keeps asking as he feels worried to see her condition and he feels there is something wrong with her that she tried to hide from him.

''Dylan, can we talk about this later? We at here right now, in an unknown place that I don't even know. I...!''

''Leah, there is nothing to worry about in this place. For your information, this is my place. You are safe in this place.''

''Your place?? What do you mean? How come this place is yours? Why I didn't know before this?''

''Because you are dumb!''

''W-what?? How dare you called me dumb. Don't you know I'm the more powerful than you even though I'm dumber!'' Leah said in anger while glaring at him.

He walks ahead slowly and leaves her behind. At the same time, he laughed inside his heart. He just feels loved to tease Leah like that.

Delilah becomes angrier when she sees Dylan leaving her just like that in there and just walking away. She keeps mumbling at herself. She shouted toward him and asked him to wait for her.

But Dylan was pretending to not hear her voice and keep walking. Then, for a few seconds, he stops his step and turns around toward Delilah. He smirked and slowly shook his head when he see Delilah was mumbling with herself while giving a sharp glare to him.

At that moment, Dylan and Delilah stood facing each other at some distance. Leah was startled when he see Dylan was suddenly stopped in front of her. She looks at him from the distance curiously and confused.

''Hey! Delilah Leah! Can you hear me from there?'' Dylan shouting.

''Yes! What are you doing?'' She asked while keep walking toward him.

''No. No. Just stop there. Don't make a move and please stop walking.''

''What?? But why?''

''I have something to say to you. Can you please listen to me?'' He shouted.

''Okay. I'm listening. B-But, why must we in this distance? Why don't we talk a little closer?''

''Because I'm mad at you!''

''W-what?? Why are you suddenly mad at me? Shouldn't I be the one that mad at you? You are the one that makes me angry just now.'' She becomes confused about him.

''No. I don't. Leah...! Listen. I-I...I'm...!''

''What?? What are you saying, Dylan??''

''Delilah Leah...!! Don't you know that I feel jealous when you were with Larry before? I hate it when I saw both of you talking with each other like a happier couple! My heart was in ached whenever you talk and keep smiling when you with him!'' Dylan finally said it all out.

He just shout it out to her and told her about his true feeling when he saw her with him. He just holding it all along the way and this time, he must say it all to her.

He didn't care if Leah want to say whatever came across on her mind but he just didn't care and he want to tell her that he was so freaking jealous when Leah was smiling at Larry.

After hearing what his saying, Delilah was grinning by herself there. She finally can hear about his own feeling. Even though he still can't remember about her, at least his feeling can't even lie.

''I know. I know, Dylan...I know, that your heart still remembers your feeling toward me. I know there a still love inside your heart for me...'' She said in a low voice. She still standing there and smiling.

''Did you say something, Leah? I can't hear you!'' He shouted again as he see Delilah just standing there like a frozen.

''Yes! I clearly can hear what are you saying! So, that means...you are jealous along this time?'' She replies. She laughing.

''You laughing at me?? Did you think this is a funny thing?''

''Yes! But! At the same time, I was feel happy! Dylan...! Thank you! Thank you for being honest about your feeling.''

Dylan was smiling too. He can see from the distance that Leah was feeling happy.

''Leah! Don't be too happy! I have a punishment for you.''

''W-what?? What do you mean?? Punishment?? But why??'' She was speechless. Unfortunately, she knows that his cold personality will never be gone. She makes a deep sighing.

''You just say before that your power was powerful right, so how about you catch me right now. Let's see how strong was your power. Come, catch me, dear!'' Dylan immediately runs away into the forest and he just uses his own power.

In the blink, Dylan disappeared. Delilah was shocked. She accepts the challenge and starts changing into the wolf and opens out her own power.

And just like that, both of them were running and chasing each other inside the forest.
