Chapter 43: The Case is Dropped

Rose’s phone rang, jolting her out of the best slumber she’d had in years. Cade had his arm flung over her body and she felt so many things. Safe. Loved. Cherished.

Sated of course. The man knew his way around a woman’s body, and he’d played her last night like a maestro.

She grabbed the phone off the nightstand. She’d only kept it on because of Keegan. Cade had assured her that if anything had happened to him, no one would call her. The pack knew where he was, and they knock on the front door. It was the only reason anyone would disturb them.

Flynn would deal with any other pack emergencies while they were in the Honeymoon Cottage.

Cade growled and rolled onto his back, taking his warmth with him. She tugged the covers over her and answered her phone. “It’s Rose.”

“Rose. I am sorry for disturbing you and I know Cade will be p*ssed, but I wanted to give you some good news to add to your wedding,” Judd, her lawyer said.

Rose shifted to sit up. “Go ahead.”
