Chapter 9: Missing home

"So you still recognize your Dad I thought you had forgotten me"

"and whose fault is that ,this entire muggle study for Sam was your idea"

"Anyway how is my grandson doing?" asked grandfather while I was wondering why I became a little nervous

"incredibly good actually he has been called a genius by his teacher"

"every thing is good except for some reason he failed to make a single friend"

Grandfather suddenly became incredibly serious for a second

"Sam do you look down on non magical people" said grandfather and almost scaring me in the process.

"No actually I admire their progress, their approach to knowledge, their drive to progress and what they have achieved since the separation of our communities is incredible the muggles in that time and now can almost be regarded as two different civilization"

"Good. Since knowing your aunt has escaped taking responsibility to this day I am hoping if I can not convince her I would make you a heir by the time you go to Hogwarts. Olivia can you leave us alone for some time"

"So mysterious but sure "said aunt Olivia

"Sam I am happy you understanding the strength of both worlds at your age"

"and I am proud of you"

"Sam I am fine with you not making any friends for now but Sam if there is one thing I have felt being the lord of the house is that you need allies to help you achieve your goals and friends to share your pain that is the only way to success.

"now can you tell me about your experience learning magic I heard you started learning magic from Olivia"

I had a good talk with grandpa but as some one who has the memories of an adult I feel weird when some one is advising me especially since that person is not my dad. I became a little upset thinking about it. I had tried to run away but I guess I was powerless. Maybe just maybe I can see them again.

Anyway I have to prepare the tomorrow is the new year and the day where it is possible to perform the ritual of astral blessing.

Astral blessing is one of the hardest rituals in the book I have read it countless times. I have prepared the materials I need to do it tomorrow. The best time to do it would be midnight.
