The Witch Bone

Cheng Yan, the sole breadwinner of his family, one night finds some old bone under an old tree. The origin of those bones results in his death. But this transports him back to thousands of years ago where witches not only existed but demons and spirit beasts roamed the skies and ruled the seas. Trapped in a body of the heir of the chieftain, Cheng Yan has to walk through the labyrinth of political unrest as an awakened god, in a mortal's body, to save the kingdom from his unscrupulous rivals, and save himself from jaw-dropping beautiful cousins. And the only weapon he had on his reincarnation was a string of bones. What will he do with those bones? Feed it to dogs? Turn them into bone soup? Wear around his neck as a fashion statement? Read to find out more! Note: Ahem, Froggo here, my summer vacation started and I thought "hey, why not" and started writing. My first ever prose writing ( my soul is a poet though). So, please check out and leave comments if you like it and if you hate it, I won't mind having some of your power stones thrown at me. (not kidding) ahahahahah And also do not judge my novel yet based on the synopsis. It's an "East Meets West" fantasy fan-fiction. I am going all out! Will be busy for a month. Chapter release rate will be affected. Leave a review as well. XIeXie!

Roland, the warrior of Wimbledex

"Always get excited, you say?" mused Roland as he smiled at these words, and added knowingly, "But Anna, aren't you excited as well? You have been waiting for that person as much as me. If I recall correctly, you have had a crush on him as long as I can remember. I reckon you even snog him in your dreams," saying this Roland burst out laughing uncontrollably.

He was laughing so much that tears were coming out of his eyes.

There was no sound coming from the orb. But it had suddenly turned red at his words. The temperature in the room was also increased considerably. And seeing this he laughed again.

"Roland, don't you dare laugh at me! I am going to burn that beard of yours the instant I return, I swear to Balder**! Wait for my mission to get over. I'll fly back home and burn that cursed castle down!" Anna was enraged. Her brother, Roland was a bane to her existence. She had been at the receiving end of his jokes the moment she was born. But she wasn't one to back down either.

Hearing her threats. He stopped laughing. He knew what his sister was capable of. Her name "Anna" sounded "weak" and "timid" but it was a total contrast to her fiery temper. She was after all the Sorceress of fire!

He replied, feeling defeated, "Okay. Okay. I shall and will not make any moves on Soaring Dragon. My word of honor as a warrior of Great Wimbledex. Sigh! Are you happy now, Anna?"

"Partly, your castle is safe but your beard not very much," after she said this the orb lost its red glow and returned to a normal looking orb. The room returned to its cold atmosphere from before.

Roland loved joking with her. He stroked his beard and thought to himself, "Well, the lass may pretend to be really furious but I know she's actually all hot and flustered inside whenever that person is mentioned. But I reckon she's right. I will have to observe more before I show myself."

He lifted a mug of ale and drained the entire content. He smacked his lips and a breath of cold air came out from his mouth which decreased the almost freezing air inside the room.

"When are you returning?" he asked out loud and went back to reminisce about his young immortal days.

----------------------

While in the kingdom of Soaring Dragon, Bai Hua sneezed while reading his cultivation books with his father.

"Caught a cold, Bai Hua?" asked his father as he looked down from his work table. Bai Yur was analyzing a weird looking object on his table

"I don't think so, father. Must be because of that dusty weird object you brought into the room just now."

"Hmmm... I found this in one our old caved in parts of the treasury. I am not sure what it is but it looks like it is not from our kingdom. I can feel a faint aura. So, I took it up here to investigate."

"Is your cultivation progressing?" he asked off-handedly.

"Yes."

It was a simple "yes" but Bai Yur will never know how much stronger his soul was becoming as Bai Hua could feel that his memories were slowly coming back even though it was like a drop of water to his ocean of a soul.

**Balder- Norse and Anglo-Saxon God of Immortality.

Thought I'd dropped the novel midway.

But well, from here on the Fan-fiction officially commences both for Roland and The Norse gods.
