Wicked Witches

All four members of the newly found Guild, the Wicked Witches. All four of them are showing signs of the battle, all beaten and battered, later that day.

Makayla looked worse though. Blacked eyes. Busted lip. More bruises than the rest.

Ollie is having a smoke.

Abbie is having a large meal of English cuisine but has a disgusted expression due to her stomach not sitting well with it.

Dorothy is having an ice tea, but awkwardly looking at each one.

All four are sitting around a circle table, looking at one another.

"What the hell are you looking at boss?" Ollie asked Dorothy.

"I'm just..." Dorothy couldn't come up with the words then shrugged her shoulders.

"Does anyone want some spotted dick?" Abbie offers.

"Ew!" Ollie declines it, Dorothy respectfully shake her head, and Makayla wasn't paying attention.

"I was hoping one of you could help me finish this up." Abbie looked down in disgust.

"So, Makayla was it?" Dorothy turned to her. "Tell us about yourself, first?" Dorothy helps her to heal up her injuries. "All I know is that you're from the 80's."

"Oh!" Makayla is surprised. "Well I'm Makayla Laveaux. I was reborn as a Witch a couple of months ago, same surname. From Congo Square, Louisiana. Instead of being an actual Witch, I've been involved with Voodoo prior to being in the Cauldron."

"Voodoo?" Ollie looked at her with a questionable expression.

"Yes?" Makayla looks at her. "What's wrong?"

"Pardon me, but isn't voodoo an evil act?" Dorothy asked Makayla.

"Not always. Actually, most people mistake both voodoo and hoodoo as one of the same, but it isn't. Voodoo has specific deities, while Hoodoo taps into the direct spiritual connection to black African ancestors. It's common to misrepresent both." Makayla explained as Dorothy heals her.

"Sounds the same to me." Abbie talked with her mouth full. "So why bring yourself into our fight?"

"Forced." Dorothy answered.

"Forced. Willingly. It doesn't matter to me, but I guess I would prefer the latter since we won't get the chances to the fight on a fair ground." Ollie said to Makayla.

"Well, it does to me." Makayla said to Ollie. "I was told to kill you in order to leave."

"Why me?" Ollie asked. "Is it because I'm from Chicago, Illinois, in the 1950's?" Ollie reveals more of herself while asking Makayla.

"Oh..." Abbie looked disapproving of her location.

"What's wrong with you?" Ollie asked her with an angry look.

"It's just that... Chicago, really?" Abbie slightly said with a defensive tone.

"What's wrong with Chicago, Bones?" Ollie goes up to her face.

"Nothing. It reminds me of the Yankees." Abbie looks at her in a New York Yankees uniform.

"I'm no damn Yankee! I'm a proud Sox fan!" Ollie pulls out an old picture of herself with Minnie Minoso.

Ollie looked at it with an unimpressed look. "Who's that?"

"You don't know?! This man was an up and coming star from my time period. Left field. Number 9. Now a Hall of Famer in this time period. Minnie Minoso! You don't know talent when you see it?!" Ollie shouted at her.

"Before I became a Witch, my father managed to get a signed autograph from George Ruth, before he became famous. But this Minnie doesn't look like a Rick Ferrell level of talent, but he looks okay at best." Abbie spoke with a mouth full of food. "My dad was one of those people who thought Babe Ruth was a sellout before tossing this ball away."

Both Dorothy and Makayla are watching them, being confused while both of them are bumping heads.

"Who's stupid enough to throw away a Babe Ruth autograph ball?! Even in my time period, that's rare!" Ollie shakes Abbie around.

"Thrown away wasn't the best way to say it." Abbie talks while being shaken around.

"What do you mean?" Ollie stops to ask.

"My dad burned the ball till it became ashes."

"What?!" Ollie shouted out of sheer horror.

Both Dorothy and Makayla pulled her away as she was ready to murder Abbie on the spot. Kicking and screaming out of pure anger.

"Calm down, Ollie." Dorothy asked. "Can you continue on, Makayla?"

"Well..." they placed Ollie down who's glaring at Abbie for Babe Ruth's ball. "My sister and I became Witches, but..." Makayla looked back to see Layla talking to the MGK. "She had grown up from our original look."

All three look at her then at Layla. Quickly put it together.

"Wait, Layla is your sister?" Abbie is shocked.

"Not only as my sister, but as my younger twin sister."

All three are looking at her, compared to Makayla and trying to figure it out.

"It's not that hard to figure it out. We turned into Witches at the same time, different locations. She was reborn first while I stayed in my Cauldron for nearly 40 years. You were there when Malayla said to you, Dorothy."

Dorothy remembered. "She said she was reborn from the late 2000's, but I didn't really pay much attention since she did kind of scares me a bit."

"Actually, I thought you two were cousins or something." Abbie added.

Ollie looked at them with Makayla as if they're dumb.

"Dumbasses, how far back are you two?" Ollie insults them. "Parents must have got separated, that's why their last names are different, unless your mother is a Witch."

Makalya turned to her. "Pretty close actually. Family friend, but she took me in after I was doing the deed in the streets. It was a rough a week. Whenever I had a bad day, I tell Malayla to head back home, while I go to Rosie to see heal my wounds for a bit."

"Really?" All three are now confused.

"She died before we got the chance to meet up again."

"That gave me a question now," Abbie looks at them all. "What would happen if the Witch that put you into a Cauldron but died before waking up?"

Malvonia walked up to them. "That's quite obvious. Witches will be reborn, but due to no one there to guide you, you'll be on your own till you find someone to teach you the ropes or a Magical Girl will find you first. Whatever comes first."

"When my sister found me, I was surprised at first but she gave me the rundown then made me join the MGK."

"How can you join a group like that?" Ollie asked.

"I had to kill a Magical Girl then show proof. Like how we used to do it in the old days when it comes to gang warfare." Makayla remembered.

"By the way, your sister was a former Hoe. What does that mean?" Dorothy asked about the term. "It's quite a new term to me."

"Perhaps I'll tell you that another time." Makalya awkwardly chuckled away.

"So why Wicked Witches?" Makayla asked Dorothy. "Is there something you're fond of the Wicked Witches name?"

"Actually, I just chose it due to the fact that I don't really have an overall idea on what kind of Guild I want to lead. So the name stuck on. I would have gone with Good Witches, but due to how much bloodshed we cost in our little Witch's Dual, I doubt any of us is good to begin with." Dorothy answered. "But if any of you don't like being in the Guild, I won't hold any of you back from leaving."

"Actually, I don't mind staying. I don't really like the idea of being in the MGK." Makayla decided to stay with the Wicked Witches. "I'll fight, but I wasn't planning on killing cold bloodily."

"Since Ms. Webster didn't like how I lost specifically to you, she doesn't want me in her Guild of the Victorian Dames. Plus I'm not from England nor been Dame, so I didn't stand a chance." Abbie continues to eat as she has a disgusted look over her food.

"I just want to look for the five Magical Girls that left me for dead." Ollie looked over at the TV set as if she's looking for new intel. Ollie then had an observation look at the TV set. "Do any of you think this time period of a television set look so... flat."

Both Abbie and Dorothy looked over but didn't bother. Makayla sees it. "Yeah. It would have been easy to steal that back in my day."

"Steal?" Ollie looks back at her. "Why steal a whole box? You need like three guys to carry it."

"Normally two, but yeah. Back where I came from, they would have loved to steal these TV sets. I imagine the amount of room that could be saved." Makayla looks at it as she's leaning back.

"I don't know what a television set is." Abbie said. "I barely have a radio set back then."

"I prefer to read, but that's all I had back then." Dorothy added. "I don't understand how these moving pictures could be so lively."

"Moving pictures?" Ollie grinned. "We call it the show or movies. I prefer the theatre though since I liked to sing."

"That I do understand, since I managed to sneak into a theatre whenever I needed to lose some time. Best thirty minutes of my life." Abbie smiled as she remembered the stage. "But after seeing these," she pulled out a smartphone. "I really don't know how they make these or use them."

"I really like them." Ollie shrugs.

"It's like having an old phone but much smaller." Makayla pulled out hers. "But the phones I tend to have are those block phones."

"Yeah, and I used to share my phone with my brother Johnny." Ollie smiled.

"Johnny? Your Familiar?" Dorothy asked.

"It's a memory of my brother. It was a cat that found me at the river when I first awoke to the modern world. After I was left dead by the Magical Girls." Ollie spoke while Johnny came up onto her lap to lay his head down.

"Oh yeah, what were the Magical Girls that jumped your ass?" Makayla asked.

Ollie looked over to the TV screen. "I don't remember what they look like, but I was making a break for it down in downtown Chicago. I was forced to leave, but all I remember was a group of five." Pull up her switchblade that scared Johnny away. "I'm gonna straight up murder them and avenge my Mentor, Sandra Black."

"Oh!" Malvonia looked at her. "So you're little Sandy's Apprentice?"

Ollie looks back. "Know her?"

"Sweet cupcake, but didn't realise she died. Granted, I didn't know she was dead due to the fact that she was never wanted but she's a good Witch." Malvonia walks up to Ollie.

"And I hate hearing that term. When I heard that there's a Witch named Glinda the Northern Good Witch, I wanted to kick her ass for being too nice in today's society."

"But sorry to say this, if you're from Chicago, finding your Magical Girls will be tough since it's one of those big cities that have a mixed bag. At least you know one of them?" Makayla asks Ollie about the details.

"It was a wolf looking girl." Ollie pressed her knife onto her finger.

"Wolf? Then I guess it's futile since Red Riding Hood or the Apex Predator are pretty common." Makayla lies next to Dorothy.

"Then I'll kill every wolf I find!" Ollie snarled.

Makayla is doing some thinking. "I think there should be an MGK: Chicago group that should be up there, but..." Makayla pulled out a couple of hair strands. "Do they match any of these colours?" She put it in front of Ollie.

Looking down on them as she's trying to remember. "Black hair."

Abbie looked over. "Why do you have their hair?" looking up with a gross expression.

"It was part of my weight pulling. These were my kills." Put them away.

"I got my own wolf problem back at my hometown, which I was planning on returning after I got my Wand." Dorothy said to them.

"At the sticks?" Ollie asked. "But if there's a wolf, then consider this as practice!" She punched her palm.

"You may not be Becky, but you do match her personality." Dorothy said to Ollie while thinking of Becky. "Wait? Were you planning on coming?!" She asked them.

"Yeah. We're a group now. And wherever the boss goes, we're supposed to follow." Ollie smiled.

"Even the MGK have different Chapters with different leaders, but they follow and keep my sister updated on the Magical Girls." Makayla compared their Guild to the MGK.

"Different Chapters? Like in a book?" Abbie is confused.

"Thankfully someone said it." Dorothy admits to herself.

Makayla sign. "No. It's a subdivision to the overall group."

Ollie kept staring at Makayla then looking back at Layla, and back again. "I'm sorry, but I still can't get over that you're the big sister. Seriously, mine as well be the little sister."

"I'm already being treated as the little sister. Being 10 years younger to your twin sister is something no twin should ever see. But it's not being treated that was bothered. It how. During those years away from her, it must have changed her deeply. She was a sweet little girl, but now, she's this tattooed girl that has the smell of blood, smoke and booze. Not gonna lie, it's a better life than being a hoe, but... look so... bitter." Makayla looked over to see Layla drinking with the MGK, having a laugh.

Layla answered the phone.

"It's quite rare to have actual sisters but twins? That's like a once in a lifetime rarity." Malvonia said to Makayla.

Makayla pets her. "Thanks."

"So Layla. Is there any MGK down in Kansas?" Mariel Crimson is the caller.

Layla pulls out her notebook then finds there's no nearby chapters. "Well, there's the Texas Chapter, but because the Magical Rangers are on my girl's tail, I can't send out a Chapter down to a hick state."

"So you can't spare anyone? I got three Vigilantes."

"What are they? If they're Vigilantes, then I could put up a bounty on their white asses. If it's the sticks, they have to be white bitches that need to be put down." Layla leaned back at the bar.

"I got a Green, Red and even a potential Pink."

"Wait? A Pink and a Red?" Layla seemed interested in Pink and Red. "What kind of Locket do they have?"

"Fairy Tales. Green got Riding Hood. Red looks like Wonderland. And the Pink is Cinderella."

"Hmm... call back to see if there's any development in the hick state. But I can post up a Bounty worth of; $6000, in total." Layla looks up at her account.

"That sounds pretty reasonable."

"2 grand for the Pink. 1 grand for the Green. 3 thousand for the Red." Layla took a drink.

"Oh yeah, by the way, they managed to put up a barrier to prevent me or any Familiar from escaping Oztown. For some reason, the Familiars I send didn't bring in backup, and I couldn't go to the store, so it might had been a Blue Magical Girl latest technology, and using me as their lab rat. So send out a warning for that."

"Why bother?" Layla smiled. "We Witches will always find a way to escape. But I'll post it in an hour. So by tomorrow morning, Witches nearby want a piece of them, but they must bring the heads and Lockets as a condition." Layla starts making a post. "So have fun with the hunt, Mary."

"I will, my former Apprentice."
