Deceiving

As the night time came, Almira and Malvonia were being paranoid as they had been seeing nothing but gun fire. But to the Wicked Witches, they're just having some fast food on the back of the truck.

"So where did you live?" Abbie asked as she's eating a dirtied up burger.

"Around over there, at the abandoned farmhouse." Dorothy points.

"I'm surprised that no Magical Girl came by and destroyed it." Ollie said as she's drinking her milkshake.

"Do they actually know that we're reborn in Cauldrons?" Abbie turned to her.

"No. From what I had witnessed, they believe we picked up dead wood and became Witches." Dorothy said, which made Ollie nearly choke on her milkshake.

"If my sister was there, she would have shot her dead on the spot. Then rob her ass." Makayla said that made the others slightly laugh for a bit.

"Sounds like something that Ollie would do. At least the stealing bit." Johnny laughs.

"How can you five just sit there and laugh?!" Almira shouted. "Can't you tell that there's the MGGA down there?!"

"It's no biggie. We're just there to grab your shit and leave, right?" Makayla said. "We'll be here for a little bit and call it quits afterwards."

"That's not the problem here!" Almira angrily barks at them.

"What Master has to say is that we gotta destroy the house too." Malvonia added.

"Then we'll set it on fire, it isn't my first time I burn a house down." Makayla laughed it off.

"Okay, what are we really here for?" Dorothy walked up as she saw the battlefield.

"Mostly stuff I don't want to rebuy again. I'm not buying Malvonia another set of a cat tree, the one I got for her was nearly $300. And if she didn't talk, I would have ignored her like a normal pet owner. But since she talks, that's all I ever heard from her several years back." Almira remembered Malvonia begging for a fancy cat tree.

"Maybe she will not request it." Dorothy smiled awkwardly.

"I will request it nonstop till she buys me a new cat tree." Malvonia said to Dorothy with sharp eyes.

"Burn down my house and few other places for insurance money, since money is turning into a Gold Rush for me, since I've to steal banking information. Credit card numbers, I've been stealing other Witches and Apprentices banking info in order to live out life. Mostly the dead ones. And even some charitable boxes to make ends meet, but only when I'm desperate."

"That doesn't sound so Christian." Dorothy was offended by her ways.

"I've killed Magical Girls and Witches before. Stealing is far less than that. And if I would place my main reason for burning down those places, and ours, is that I don't want the government to come after me for tax evasion, tax fraud, tax reports, you name it. I've been avoiding those for 100 years." Dorothy then remembered but doesn't find it important, "Oh yeah. I also forgot about other Bad Apple, MGK, and other Salem Witches that are as old as me. But I'm more worried about the tax stuff."

After what Almira said, the three Wicked Witches heard what she had at her place.

Ollie asked, "Wait a minute! Did you say you steal dead Witches' bank accounts? Because I do remember Sandy said that she had money saved up for me and another Witch in two different accounts. But when I decided to withdraw some money, there was nothing and the banker said it was withdrawn somewhere in Kansas. So do you know anything about that?"

"Nope!" Almira blatantly replied with a hint of a lie.

Abbie asked, "And do you have the locations of the other Victorian Dames? Since Mrs. Webster has been keeping her private estate that Queen Victoria a secret for centuries?"

"Never once visited nor stole anything from her estate in Northern Scotland." Almira blatantly replied while acting like she knows where it is.

"And the MGK members. Like do you actually know where they are, or are you bluffing on that? Because now realising something, Layla had reported that she had been missing a few members since I woke up." Makayla asked.

"I would never sell out any of the MGK locations in order to keep my ass safe. I would never." Almira blatantly replied while acting like she did do such things. All three go up to Almira's face with a pissed off look. "But I can tell you that there are Witches that aren't me by the way, do that in order to survive."

"Said to the person who's been evading taxes all her life!" All three disagreed and were ready to pounce on Almira.

"Can you four please keep it down? Then destroying our house is something we gotta do before leaving." Dorothy calls them out.

"Since Almira here has important details, we gotta just walk in and destroy it." Abbie said to Dorothy.

"But..." Dorothy looks over to see multiple Witches are making camp at a local gas station. "It seems that our only way into our area is the Yellow Brick Bridge? Is it really called that?" Dorothy asked.

"Don't blame me. I just observed it." Almira replied.

"But it's heavily guarded." Makalya looked over.

"Mrs. Green, what are the military like that do for a living?" Dorothy asked.

"This is also my first time seeing them." Abbie added.

"They're here to bring back the Witches that were captured, and burn the bodies. Plus they're here to provide backup."

"But they're not that great when it comes to finding out which one is a Witch or not. So there's our advantage there. But that's if it was just them alone." Makayla said to them all.

"But?" Ollie asked her.

"But the Guides will find out easily."

"Crap" Ollie looked down.

"Then what about being an actual Magical Girl?" Dorothy asked as she's looking around through the binoculars

"Are you crazy?!" All of them said in a shocking tone.

"Because if we're meant to be Wicked, then how about stealing their identities?" Dorothy suggested. "Plus I'll volunteer for the transformation. And it would be perfect to try a new theory."

Almira looked at Dorothy then signed over the idea. "Fine, but we got to pick out a Vigilante since they're not in the database unlike official Magical Girls."

As Dorothy is looking around, then notices an independent Magical Vigilante is making their way into Oztown but stops at a barnyard.

"Mrs. Green!" Dorothy called out as she pointed out the Magical Vigilante.

She looks. "Doesn't seem like she got a Guide with her, so an Independent MG? Mal!" Almira called out as she walked up to her. "I want you to go check on her."

"Understood." She teleport to the nearest point of the barnyard.

§

Malvonia walked up to the run down barn house then observed the situation. Looking around, I decided to go up to her.

"Are you here for the aid?" Malvonia acts like she's a Magical Guide.

"Oh my God!" The Vigilante spoke with a French accent. "Are you an actual Magical Guide?!" She seemed happy.

"That's correct." Malvonia smiled and looked proud. "Let me introduce myself. The name is Luna." Grinning whenever the Vigilante turned around then had a normal smile when facing back. "But can you fill me in on some of the details. I was told to report here, but don't really know the rundown."

"Certainly! My name is Dorothy Valjean. My Model is Wonderland, and I paid a lot of good money for this one. And we have Witches trapped inside due to the new weapon of an invisible barrier."

"In order to move forward, do you know any other Vigilante? Three more, since we're ordered to bring in the team of four in order to secure the town." Malvonia said to Valjean. "Without other Guides, since we're quite picky on our Vigilantes."

"I only know two, but I think I saw one coming from one of the back roads?" Valjean pointed in the direction with Almira looking at it.

"Go for the kill." Almira orders through her ear while she's flying towards the pointed direction.

"Understood!" Malvonia spoke proudly. "Can you send them a text to this location?"

"Yes!" Valjean started texting away with two other Vigilantes. Both delivered and been read. One of them even text back on bringing in a friend, but not a Vigilante though. "Good news, one of them will be coming in ten minutes. Will that work?"

"Perfectly." Malvonia smiled. "Can I see your Locket?"

"Yes!" Valjean happily gives her the Locket.

"Looks wonderful." Malvonia grinned.

"Well it is..."

Malvonia interrupted her by launching herself onto the face then tackled her down into one of the stalls. Unable to transform into her Magical Girl form and trying to fight back, Malvonia had killed Valjean.

§

Malvonia teleported back to the Wicked Witches location. "Alright! We got eight minutes! Move in!" She teleported back to the barnyard.

All four made their way towards the barnyard, using their brooms to fly low in order to avoid the AWM and Magical Girls that could be patrolling.

They flew in and noticed the dead body.

Dorothy looks at Malvonia. "What?" Confused over the dead girl.

"I just want to steal their identities. I didn't say kill them." Dorothy talks down on Malvonia.

Licking her paws. "It's either take this one shot and reuse the tactic for the future, or risk more of our lives by letting them live out of human decency."

"No memory erasing spell?" Dorothy asked.

"We do know them, but this is much easier than risking them to remember us. It has the amnesia effect. Takes a simple memory to unlock everything on what happened in the event." Malvonia said.

Makayla is removing the clothes of Valjean then quickly clean them up while Ollie is gearing up with her Switchblade Wand. Abbie is already making a grave for Valjean.

"We might need that corpse. Depending on who she'll bring along." Malvonia stops Abbie.

Makalya is loading up her Pistol Wand. Both her and Ollie fly above the door with Malvonia standing in the middle. Dorothy is wearing Valjean clothing, a bit baggy. Abbie is playing the role of farmer in the situation.

The two Magical Vigilantes arrived. One of them was the Caucasian, the Vigilante with a Little Mermaid model, and the other is African-American.

"Welcome! The name's Luna, I'm the Magical Guide that's forming the group of four. I'm glad you're here." Malvonia continued on playing the role. "Now please introduce yourselves, and what Model. Dorothy is looking over at Oztown, keeping in tabs." Malvonia said to them.

As they're introducing themselves; Scarlet Fish and Violet Brown, both Ollie and Makayla are getting ready. After the introductions and when Malvonia took Fish's Locket away.

Ollie dropped down to cut the throat of the right while Makayla shot down the left. Ollie keeps stabbing while Makayla is double and triple tapping shots.

"That's three!" Ollie rolls her arm while both Makayla and Abbie are dragging the bodies away.

"Where's the Third Locket?!" Dorothy asked.

"Only Fish had one. The other is just a regular." Malvonia sounded disappointed.

"Doesn't matter to me." Makayla is stealing money from the wallet and some other stuff. "But I honestly was hoping the killing was over for awhile."

"But now all we need to wait is the third one." Ollie said.

"But we don't know if Valjean..." Dorothy stood up and noticed the third Vigilante.

"Hello!" In a French accent. "I'm guessing you're Winter White?"

Winter had a Snow White look then quickly saw the blood covered Witches. Noticing that she was outmatched, she's about to make a break to Oztown but Abbie trapped her down in the ground with her head exposed.

"Alright, speak first!" Malvonia scratches her face.

"You Witches are the scum of the Earth!" She said out loud.

"We already know that." Malvonia smiled.

Makayla walked up and shot Winter point blank range.

Abbie pulls Winter out of the ground. "So what's the status for Mrs. Green?!" Abbie asked.

"I'll check!" Malvonia teleports to Almira's location.

Dorothy sat down and looked disappointed. Both Makayla and Ollie notice and sit next to her as Abbie is digging up graves and taking off their clothes.

"Look here, boss." Ollie looks over at Oztown turning into a warzone. "This is your life now. And you gotta get used to it. But if you want to feel better, we didn't want to do this but we're basically been forced to do these kinds of actions."

"She's right." Makayla pulls out a joint to light it up. "When I made my first kill, it was a friend who was a Magical Girl. But when I met Layla again and held her pistol and pressed it against her head. I didn't want to. But being in a gang in a previous life where the pigs just gun us down, I thought being a Witch would be better but only be chased down by a different kind of piggies."

"How hard was it in your time period?" Dorothy turned to Ollie.

"Wasn't much different. Just the times evolved, but seeing death and nearly experience for the first time since I got here in this time period, I shouldn't survive to begin with." Ollie grabs a cigarette to start smoking. "I wasn't a tough girl back then, but this environment made me into it in order to survive."

Abbie walked up to them as she grabbed the Lockets, passing them out. "As for me, struggling to survive isn't fun. Seeing death is normal. So for me, this isn't new."

"But it is new to me." Dorothy said. "I used to live here. This town wasn't even here when I was living back then. I'm not used to seeing dead people, or experiencing death. I thought I could get by without killing people. I don't mind robbing since they could survive without it, but killing..." Dorothy was ready to burst into tears but holding it back. "I don't think I would ever go back to who I am if I do kill."

Ollie looked down to see Dorothy as herself in her previous life. Being a pink lady with a preppy look. After taking one puff then spoke. "How about this, in order to make you feel better." Dorothy looked up at her. "When I find the girls who killed my Mentor, I... won't kill her. Even though she deserves it, but... you're the boss here. And whatever the boss wants, the boss will get it."

"I can follow that." Makayla back rubs Dorothy

"But I ain't promising the beat down though. I still need something for retribution." Ollie continues on her smoke.

Abbie pulls out an old school lunch box and continues to eat her fast food but looks at Ollie as if she knows what happens to those who make deals like that.

Makayla started to laugh, which leaves all three confused. "I have a question. What was your reaction when you saw a girl like me running around freely?"

All three were surprised by the question, but they were embarrassed to talk about it.

"It's alright, just be honest here."

"Actually, I had spent my time with... your kind before. Starving together, I didn't mind it at first till I saw how violent you became when I woke up." Abbie said her reaction.

"I'm not used to seeing that many at once, but I'll admit, I did find it kind of scary. But I got over it since I do understand that your kind is trying to make a good honest living. At least it can't be far worse than what we are." Dorothy replied.

"Eh." Ollie shrugs her shoulders. "I didn't mind. If you can roll with us back then, then we won't have a problem with it."

"Well I hope we won't have any problems, since I honestly didn't expect so much to change when I was gone for nearly 40 years. Being a black girl back then, you ain't supposed to have high expectations. Sure there are problems, but it's a better step than where we were back then. Especially where you three came from." Makayla lays back to smoke some more.

"Can I have a smoke of that? I always wanted to try one." Ollie asked.

"Nah!"

"How come?!" Ollie got up and asked.

"Because you ain't ready to handle this shit." Makayla laughed.

Dorothy softly smiled then realised. "Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you something, Makayla." She looks at Dorothy. "What was that white powder in your dresser? When I was doing your laundry, I noticed the white powder. I assume it must be sugar or salt."

Makayla laughed even harder. "That one you don't have to worry. I'm not an addict, but it serves as my side income. So don't worry about it then."

Both Abbie and Dorothy were confused as Ollie was trying to picture it but couldn't see past sugar.

Almira and Malvonia came back with a fourth body.

"Sorry we're late!" They slam the body down hard. "This one put up one hell of a fight, but we got the voice and name down. So start suiting up!"
