I might have promised to not bother my mate but I knew to not remove my cautious gaze from her. And so did I instruct Gabriel to monitor her, I couldn't bear to have an injured or dead mate. Seated was I on a throne within my audience room which contained very few people; Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael. They stood before my eyes with theirs boring into mine and the silence birthed nothing but their nervousness for I could perceive the emotions of weaker beings. Seconds went by and the silence was broken by Gabriel's voice. `I sighted her leaving the town but Ariel Serena appeared within the scene. He mentioned something about she being the vessel Navori wants. That's someone I know nothing about so the entirety of the conversation still remains unclear to me. Just as he was about to grab her and leave the scene, an unknown figure streamed in and beat him down. The blue haired man was faster than I could imagine and within the span of few seconds, Ariel Serena was beaten down. But, the useless Vampire managed to hold the human captive. So, I had no choice but to appear within the scene. After snapping his neck, I exited the scene.'
I could sight the confused expressions that were plastered on Uriel and Raphael's faces for they understood nothing about the situation since I never involved them. `Talk more about the man.' My reply to his long statement was short, as usual. `He had runes all over his body, that was the notable hint I could possess when I sighted him but if I had remained a bit longer. Perhaps, I might have been able to gain more information about him.' I became shocked when he mentioned the existence of runes on the man's body but the expression wasn't shown on my face. No one was needed to tell me that the Warlocks were back, those fearsome creatures with magical indestructible bodies. I knew they had been killed, millenniums ago. But, I knew not of what brought them back to walk Earth, again.
`I sneaked after him. He picked up Ariel's unconscious body and vanished right away after telling her to meet him at the Lost Souls. I tried keeping up with his pace but he was much faster. But, I already knew where they were going to meet so I visited the bar at the exact time she did. I hid from them but I found it impossible to listen to the words exchanged by their mouths, it was as if a huge seal was placed upon my very sensitive ears. They exited the bar after minutes of talking and they were attacked by three Travelers but the man made a quick work of them. I noticed something about the human, the Travelers couldn't possess her body. One tried but the soul spell lashed out at him and he died. Once more, he vanished right away from the scene after grabbing her by the waist.' I did feel jealous but I was more concerned of her safety. If she was really the vessel Navori wants, she wouldn't be safe. Her best bet would be me, in regards to staying alive and safe. `Did you manage to get his name?' And so was Gabriel questioned by me.
`Yes, at the first scene of the big trouble, he mentioned it to her, Aaron Eratul.' That's what I loved about him, he was never a curious person. He would never lie and bother a person with questions for the purpose of satisfying his curiosity. Rather, he was silent with the urge to ignore the affairs of the world. `Who is Navori, sir?' Raphael questioned me and I saw no reason to not give an answer. `A mortal Fetcher who had a greater ambition, nothing else. It appears that he has managed to exist in a corporeal form for millenniums but unable to have a solid contact with the physical world. A human, I met of recent, Silvia Argent, happens to be the vessel he needs to make contact with the world. I guess he's probably tired of remaining corporeal. Audience dismissed.' I hated talking much so I stated sharply and quickly.
Nightfall embraced the world and the dark sky regurgitated the radiant blue moon. The moon casted her rays upon the mansion that I stood before, my mansion, my home, the White Garden. I was many meters away from the twin entry gates that separated my home from the outside world. I had already informed Uriel to dismiss the patrol guards for I wanted no one to be around me whilst I took into sight the scenery of the exterior part of my home. Many might have believed I was only out to enjoy the air birthed by the flapping wings of the birds that roamed the forest in which my mansion was contained within but it was not so, I had a vision that an unforeseen pack of visitors would stream into the garden which was why I was outside with the intention to protect my home, lest the event was not peaceful.
Patient was I just as seconds evolved to minutes for I knew the vision wasn't unreal. Many knew not of my origin for I was a mysterious person, no one knew that my connection with the moon was the strongest ability I had. I could gaze into the past and catch glimpses of the future events but I knew not of why I could do so. In a sense, I was the moon. Such was a secret of mine, one of the many I've possessed. Footsteps rang out as one of the many paths the forest contained was being treaded along, they did seem far but I could hear them. Few minutes passed and six figures had appeared behind me. Whilst I turned to gaze at their entirety, I spoke. `Welcome to my garden, visitors.'
