I was in a junior when I fell in love with a girl named Rica. She was beautiful with a curvy body. I was just sixteen and she was turning sixteen at that time. I had this crush on her when she was in the cheering squad cheering us whenever we had a soccer game.

One day she approached me smiling, beautifully. We talk and laugh about random things. I told her about my parent's death on the rogue attack. She said she was sorry. I said that I am fine and it was a long time ago.

Then every day we talk and, she started flirting with me. I was flirting back too. I like her so much. We dated every weekend and make out everywhere we wanted.

On the second time of our date, we went to my house. My sister is not there, she was with Natasha reviewing for their exam in Nathan's house. We watch movies in my room.

'It's chilly this night.' She said. I know what she means. I put my arms around her and nuzzle my nose on her neck.

On the other side of that day... Minerva is walking in the corridor wearing her usual white dress. Her hair is curled and tied up with a fresh rose hanging at the side of her neck. She stopped when she saw us flirting on the corridor. Her eyes spark but it changed in pain.

She heard everything I told Rica. The things that I wished that Rica was my mate, not her, my true mate. The things that I told Rica, that I will love her, always and forever. It breaks her heart instantly.

'Minerva, you okay?' Harris asked her.

She just nods and continued walking to the office of the Principal not passing on us. Her tears fall as she teleported to an empty place and there, she cry and cry until she recovered. But seeing her cry in these memories breaks me slowly. I caused her pain.

There's a meeting on the packhouse and our Alpha, Nathan's father had told us about the visit of an Enchantress who is in a high position in the Kingdom. I don't listen to it. It was all the memories of me... but in the end, I saw Minerva, crying in the corner of her room holding her chest. I can see her thoughts and I can see that she can see what I have done. I can feel the pain that she is suffering inside her. I can feel how she is worried about her cousin. She can take the pain but she doesn't want Zoë to be hurt because of her... because of me.

'Honey, just break the bond!' her mother told her. 'You can break it and removed your mark to him. Then if he meets you and takes you as his mate, you can bring back the mark.'

'No! I will give him another chance. He didn't know.' She yells at her. She leans on the wall and breathes heavily controlling herself. 'He didn't know...'

It was Rica's 17th birthday and I was going to surprise her. But she was staring together with Dustin like there are sparks between them. They call each other 'Mate' and that breaks me. She found her mate. Rica turned to me and when she saw me she faced Dustin and excuses herself. I walk away from her but she followed me.

'Ves... I need to talk to you!' I faced her. I was mad because she found her mate. Then I will be left alone again. 'I'm sorry... I wanted my mate.' instead of gripping her I just stroke her face gently and breathes.

'Okay... you wanted a break-up? I will give it to you. But I do love you, Rica. I will always do it.' I kissed her forehead and she smiles at me.

The same day of that, Minerva was on the council meeting on the palace talking with the commanders and the Beta. Her eyes suddenly burn into gold and she had seen us in her vision.

'Minerva?' Falcon rushed to her. Dina ran to her too and hold her forehead. She gasped when she saw on her vision. She saw everything on Minerva's memories.
