Let The Game Begin

(From Blue's Perspective)

"What game?" I asked. I felt my heartbeat rising and falling, rapidly, loudly, like a drum beating in the place of my heart. I could feel Dion's steady breathing, his soft snores as if he was safe, he was in the safest place in the world. He had no idea.

"A game. A fun game," Azure said and stalked towards me.

I did not move from my place. I stood my ground, when all I wanted was to hide. Azure made me feel that way. He scared me. Father figures always scared me. Brothers scared me.

Azure touched my face gently. I almost flinched. It reminded me so much of Father that it was unnerving.

"My daughter, we do not have typical father and daughter relationship. We will never have. But at least, we can have fun," he said. "Let's say, this game will help us bond."

"Oh, please, that is just bluffing," I rolled my eyes and slapped his hand away.
