A Restrained Life

(From Blue's Perspective)

Even if someone had never seen me or him, they would still know it was my twin brother. His face was hard and bored. His blue gaze was fixed on me as if examining me.

"It is the first time you two meet. You are twins," Azure said. "I believe both of you know that."

He made no motion as I gave a small nod. "I hope you two will get along, Blue and Cyan."

I refused to meet Cyan's eyes. I was afraid of what to see there. I did not want to see pure hatred and disgust for me in his eyes.

The food served looked good. But I had no appetite. My mind was filled with confusion, anxiety, and emptiness. I wanted to go back home. I wanted to go to my husband.

Dem surely was informed of my disappearance by now. Did he think I have run away on my own? Judging his character, he surely did if he had not found out anything. He surely did not find anything out as everything happened unexpectedly.

"How is Abel?" I asked.
