"Nice to see you again." Her lips curved up into a smile. "Mr Kiel,"
The leaves rustled outside the window and the sun peeked from the thin clouds of the noon sky. The lady tapping her keyboard halted and crossed her legs. She pulled herself backwards and leaned on the swivel chair.
The guy standing closer to her desk, bowed. "It's nice to see you again, President." Kiel swallowed the hard lump and made sure that he's still composed.
When he got a call from Devyn saying that she wanted to see him urgently, mixed emotions stirred up inside him. It's been a month and seeing her closer for the first time again suddenly made him nervous.
When Kiel lifted his head, Devyn seized the chance to observe him from head to toe. Kiel kept his hair down after she told him that it suits him more. However, his eyes were a little gloomy, given that he has eyebags and looked tired from working.
"Are you overworking?" She asked.
