Although Penelope had been given food, she refused to torch any served to her.
Silently, she kept a constant observation on the man who came from time to time to check on her, his hair was a shade of grey or silver rather and she recognized him as the man who had been driving the car she was abducted in.
Mostly, he would just open the door and frown as though observing something and from her deductions, she realised he came at every thirty minutes interval so after Making it seem as though she had fallen fast asleep, she understood she had less than thirty minutes to escape from this place.
She had already examined the room which seemed all too big to be just a bedroom, although she soon realised it comprised of two rooms which didn't lead out so her best shot was the window.
Quickly jumping off the bed, she moved to the glass window, placing her hand flat against it's surface and once she was certain it wasn't all too thick, thereas won't be difficult to break, she went on to look for something hard.
Spotting a small statue which seemed to be made of stone, she grabbed it.
The window didn't shatter at her first but second attempt. Happy at her progress, she looked down from the window and
Oh Lord, that was a long way down.
The fear of one falling to their death from such a distance was terrifying but her determination to escape was bigger and beyond that fear.
Spotting a pole or pipe rather, she prayed internally before letting herself out, and then hanging off the pipe for dear life.
Slowly, she let herself down, repeatedly telling herself she needed to escape for the sake of her mother at least.
Her hands were already red and hurting halfway down but she kept going until she came to the end of the pipe, supposedly leaving her with no other option than to jump, only thing was, the distance was still quite much from the ground.
1, 2, 3!
She flung herself down and once she landed to the ground, a sharp pain shot through her leg and she let out a pained cry.
Muffing the pain in, she got up but limped at the pain on her leg, it was definitely fractured.
With every limp, pain shot from her leg but she kept going.
She walked to the other side and realized she wouldn't be able to leave that easily, there were security guards everywhere and the place was well illuminated.
Oh Lord, help me
She prayed internally and as though her prayers were answered, a man walked towards the guards who were standing by the gates, saying something unheard to them and at once, they followed him.
With the gates cleared, she quickly limped her way but unfortunately, the gates were locked.
What bad luck she had, but then again, her eyes spotted a side at the end of the gate, it was not too wide but certainly, she could slide through right?
Testing her luck, she let her body slide through and thankfully, she made it out and once she was at the other side, she began limping away, as fast as she could, surely she would find help from somewhere but as she kept going further, she realised her help might be far from her cause she observed this place didn't look like any normal district, it was an estate.
Lord, how was she to find her escape route now, she had barely glanced outside while she was being brought here as she had been struggling to be let off.
Staring out the far distance of few more houses alined far out from each, only thing was, they looked smaller compared to the one she had just escaped from.
Determination washed over her being and she kept going but at the sighting of something, her heart almost leaped out from her chest.
She stopped, taking a gradual step back from what looked like a dog but at same time bigger and looked nothing like one.
Was that....a wolf?
Turning swiftly around in attempt to run off, although she knew she stood no chance, her heart skipped a beat at another which looked even more ferocious to the first.
It's teeth bared at her and a threatening growl left it's mouth.
Penelope already felt her ghost slowly leaving her being, she had no idea this place had guard dogs, or wolves rather.
At this moment, she began to wonder if she had actually done right by escaping.
She felt goosebumps rise all over her body, not just because of the cold but as fear crept into her body.
Her breathing accelerated and a loud scream erupted from her throat the moment one leaped at her, possibly to kill her.
Her eyes shot closed immediately, waiting for her death but got nothing other than the sound of loud growling and ferocious snarls but soon, a strained whine, similar to that of a puppy.
Slowly, she opened her eyes and realised both wolves which had tried to attack her crutched to the ground, the one which had ealier leaped at her had a freshly cut wound on its stomach and it's head was leaned to the ground as though submitting to something.
Penelope had no time to come out of her shocked state when she sighted another, even more terrifying than the rest.
A black wolf stood tall as nothing but power emitted from itself.
It's size possibly bigger compared to the other two wolves combined.
It snarled, bringing Penelope out of her shock to notice it's teeth baring at her and when it approached her, she screamed knowing it would take only a second for this beast to rip her apart but instead of feeling her flesh being ripped, she felt a hand pull at her.
Opening her eyes, the man who had adopted her was right in front of her.
Instinctively, her eyes shot at everywhere else, where was the black wolf.
She felt her hand being tugged as he pulled her close and when she looked at him, she realized his eyes looked slightly darker with rage
He was angry.
"Where were you going to?"
His voice scared her and this made a shiver run through her, she swallowed a lump in her throat, words unable to form in her head, she just stayed silent, staring at his eyes which scared her the more.
They looked slightly darker or was she just noticing now.
Getting up, he pulled her with him, throwing her to his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and this time, she didn't struggle, her eyes continuously looking behind, the two wolves were still crutched to the ground as though scared to stand to their feets but where was the black one.

Dorian's heart was beating loudly in his chest out of fear as he carried his mate back to the pack house.
His mind was clouded with questions of "What If".
His mate was yet to be made known to his pack and no one knew her as their Luna.
Supposedly if he hadn't arrived when he did, he didn't even want to imagine what Leonardo, one of his warriors would have done to her.
