Chapter 1:The Beginning of a New Era

Athens, Greece

"Beep beep" went the horn as the taxi sped through the crowd. "Why are so many people gathered here like this?" asked the worried man as he grasped his wife's hand tightly. "Oh! You don't know? It's The Great Zodiac Festival tonight." replied the driver as he continued to drive through the crowd. "And if we don't make it to the hospital in the next hour the streets will become so crowded that even they won't get through and both Madam and little Master might not live." he continued. "Then hurry up Alvin." shouted the man. "Yes sir." replied the driver. He continued to drive through the gathering crowd. They were all gathering for a very special event which is called, "The Dance of the Zodiacs" which is a ceremony where all the twelve zodiacs would move in a very special way. In about half an hour they reached the hospital. "Nurse, nurse!!" shouted the man as he entered the hospital. "What is it sir ?" asked one of them. "My wife. It's my wife. She's in labour right now" replied the man. "Nurse, nurse bring the strollers right now!!" shouted the head doctor. "Yes doctor," they replied. They brought the strollers and sent the woman to the labor ward. On their way to the room, one of the nurses said something disturbing. "What do mean there's going to be a national blackout!?" asked the head doctor in a very loud voice. "Tonight's the dance of the zodiacs," he replied. "And if she doesn't deliver in the next half hour, well we don't know what is going to happen." he continued. "That's not going happen. Hurry up." said the doctor. They got to the ward set everything up and got to work. "Push ma'am, push. You and your child's life depends on it." said one of the nurses. "One of you should go and turn on the backup generator!" ordered the doctor. "Yes doctor," they responded and went off to the basement. "Fifteen minutes to the blackout." said one nurse. The husband who was watching all the commotion walked out of the hospital and looked up to the night sky and saw all the twelve zodiacs. He then shouted, "Zodiacs. I don't know if you exist or not but you're the one causing my wife this pain so I want you to fix this. Save my wife and child. "He looked up and went back inside. Immediately he entered he heard the cries of a child. With the speed of light, he bolted to the ward. "It's a boy," said one of the nurses. "Ryan please come here." said the woman as she called her husband. "Yes Rosy." he replied as he entered the ward almost falling as he entered."What is it?" he asked. "Oh, nothing. I just want you to name our son," she said handing the child over to her husband. He took the child and looked at him. "You have your mother's eyes. And your name, your name is going to be..." .."
