Chapter - 43 [ Sparring - Arrogant Ojou-sama! ]

Returning to his classroom, Adam was interrogated by the students about what he learned in such a short amount of time. He lied saying, she asked about his fighting ability more and said that training starts from tomorrow onwards.

As if approving his words, Jace stormed inside the classroom before saying, "From tomorrow onwards, Adam, Amanda, Elbereth, Xesteria, Raiser, Rubelia and Decon will be given extra training. Your talents can't be improved with regular academic knowledge and training. After your lunch, come to the dueling grounds."

"Yes teacher." Everyone including Adam replied in unison. However, Jace felt awkward when she heard him talking to her with respect again. To not embarrass herself any further, she averted her eyes in a 'hmph' before leaving the classroom.

Although the students didn't feel anything weird about it, Amy, Ellie and Xe's felt like something happened between Adam and their teacher. Noticing their eyes, he sighed before telling everything through telepathy.

After hearing everything, the girls were now silent. Though they said not to attract any more girls, it wasn't really his fault for that. So they couldn't really scold him. Though they were a little saddened by his act of allowing someone to drink his blood, when they heard it was from his hand, they calmed down.

Though they never wanted to share him, they also knew it was impossible to have him for themselves. There would be a lot of girls pursuing him after his strength and talents are revealed. So rather than admonish him, they decided to make their standing firm. If any girls wanted to be with them, they would have to go through them before accepting them. Although they know he won't make others sad by rejecting them, they still wanted the new girls to see they are his first wives and true partners.

Even though he wasn't planning to make a huge harem, he too didn't know what fate planned ahead for him....

After returning to the inn, Adam and the girls said farewell to Victor and his family. He promised Milly that he will at least come and see her every once a week. Though she seemed sad, knowing she can't be selfish, she agreed.

After saying their goodbyes, they returned to the Academy Dormitory. Since the male and female dormitories are divided by the academy building itself, he had to part with them there.

Walking towards the dormitory, he saw Raiser talking to someone else. The other person was an athletic looking bald boy. He had grey eyes and built a tanned body.

Seeing Adam approaching them, Raiser pointed his forefinger towards him which made the bald boy look at Adam.

"Welcome back Adam. Here is our senior by one year, Helio Desth Walnoc. He's the son of Viscount Walnoc. He's the one I told you about. His name is Adam Aves Aldians."

"Hello senior."

"Nice to meet ya Adam. You can just call me Helio without any honorifics. In fact, just call me by my name. If you are a friend of Raiser, then you are my friend as well...!"

Hearing the excited looking man telling him this, Adam smiled before saying, "Then, Helio. I will be in your care."

"So I heard from Raiser that you are quite strong..? If so, do you want to have a fight..?" Though he wanted to act without standing out, he too was curious about an academy student's capabilities. Helio wasn't as strong as Adam. However his experience and learning was one year ahead of Adam. He wanted to know if the academic teachings helped the students.

"Of course. Why not. I am curious about you as well."

Then they left the dueling grounds. Hearing their talk, the others who were near them began to follow them to see a heated sparring. With some minutes only, the news of a newbie student and a second year fighting spread like wildfire.....

In the dueling grounds, there was a large amount of crowd as they all were excited after hearing a second year student and a newbie student sparring.

Standing near the centre of the ground was Adam and Helio. Shaking their hands, they went to their initial positions. Seeing the two are ready, a girl with a pony tail and wearing a coat over her uniform said as a referee.

"Now, the mock duel between second year student Helio and first year newbie Adam will begin..!"

Her words were followed by the loud exclamations of the crowd.

"It is a friendly match..! So there is nothing to bet..! However, aren't all of you wondering how strong a newbie and a second year are..!?"

"YEAH...!!!"

They all replied excitedly.

"So without further waiting, Let's Start the Match..!"

Hearing the word start, both Adam and Helio ran towards each other. Helio was surprisingly a hand to hand combat specialist. So reaching the near Adam, he punched the ground with a grey aura covering his fist. Although not as much, Adam was still surprised by Helio punching the ground. He lost the balance for a moment before he got it back.

Although Helio was trying to make Adam fall by losing his balance, he was shocked to see Adam still standing. Then smiling excitedly, he hit his fists together before saying,

"Shattering Fist..!"

Making some sonic booms, the entire stage vibrated and dust was all over the grounds. After the dust was cleared Helio started to see Adam raising his Sword high before uttering,

"SWORD ART - I, 2nd Form...!"

Then his sword was covered by the water with a blue sheen. He moved the sword in a slow slashing motion before pushing the sword into a thrust.

"Flowing Slash...!"

His words were like a soft sharpened knife as a water elemental slash was flying towards Helio. Although he knew if he wanted he could endure its power, he felt a small threat still from the attack. So he dodged it at the last moment.

As the attack hit the ground, a large sound of 'Bang' was heard as the ground was split open by the attack. Seeing this, Helio laughed like a madman before saying,

"I was going to let it hit me before. However my instincts told me to avoid it. Now I see why... Hahahaha..!"

Smiling at the cheerful man's words Adam nodded before sheathing his sword. However he and Helio were interrupted just as they were going to continue, by a sharp voice saying,

"How weak..!"

Turning towards the voice, he saw a girl with dark blue hair and white ribbons on her twin tails staring at him and Helio with a face similar to disgust. Looking over to Helio, he saw that the man is actually fuming with anger. He however wasn't going to fall into an obvious trap as he said,

"I see. Sorry that we are weak, Senior. I guess I should go without letting you see something unworthy of your eyes."

Saying so, Adam passed by her without looking at her. Helio who heard this laughed out loud as he said, "I can't believe you got done by a junior, you bitch..! Hahahaha...!"

His words were dangerous however, no one said anything. Feeling embarrassed after Adam left her, she turned back before asking,

"Is my junior so weak that he is going to accept everything like that...?"

Hearing his words, Adam stopped before saying, "Of course only if it's only something I can do."

As he was about to walk away, his legs stopped moving as she said, "Then come Kneel before me Boy. I will give you a chance to lick my legs."

Everyone was silent. Of course everyone knew who she was and they didn't want to include themselves with her. Amy and the girls who heard Adam were going to fight, got here a little late. However when they heard her words as they reached the ground, their eyes were filled with anger. Raiser and Rubelia only looked at the girl with pity. Helio was about to say something to her, but he swallowed his words when he felt an intense pressure.

Forcing the girl in question to kneel before him, he suddenly appeared right before her. Not understanding why she, who was an Advanced level Magister suddenly felt a pressure she couldn't even resist, the girl felt her body exploding with anger. However the more she tries to fight the pressure, the more she is forced to kneel. And what is worse is that it was only a boy younger than her who made her like this.

She felt her chin suddenly forced upwards as she heard a bone chilling voice, "I don't care if it's a little prank by an upperclassmen. However if you think you can do as you please just because you are a senior and mere Advanced level Magister, you are wrong."

Everyone who heard him was silent.

How can someone say something like this. What about her age. She was only 20 years old and she was already at an Advanced level. So isn't it a little arrogant to call her mere Advanced level magister...? This was their thoughts.

Sighing heavily he pulled back before walking towards the entrance. Seeing his leaving figure she wanted to kill him so much that her Magic just exploded as the ground began shaking so much. Usually it was impossible for an advanced level to affect nature. However due to her anger and will also a strange energy, her aura was strengthened by several folds.

Seeing the others are troubled because of his needless words, he sighed once again before he activated a new barrier.

'Anti-Magic Barrier' He said inwardly before walking away. The girl in the question was stupefied as her whole Magic seems to have disappeared into thin air. Not just using elementary level spells, she couldn't even feel her magic power anymore.

Eyeing Adam's walking figure, she gritted her teeth before walking away the other way. Amy and the girls followed behind Adam. Raiser, Rubelia, Helio also followed him. They were curious as to how he made her unable to use Magic.
