The Wandering Cowboy: A Harem Fantasy

Jacob Turner finds himself at the heart of a battle that will determine the future of the world. Too bad that world isn't Earth. A stranger from another world, armed with nothing but a revolver and a heart burdened with love, Jacob is thrust into the realm of Mirntha. A cowboy with no place to call home, Jacob must now fight against the Cursed Lord, a malevolent being whose hatred threatens to destroy everything. Along the way, Jacob forges bonds with powerful allies, including the fierce and buxom Althea, the gentle Elara, and the vivacious Seraphina. With kingdoms on the brink of collapse and ancient prophecies unfolding, Jacob's journey will test the limits of his courage, loyalty, and the unexpected strength of his heart. As darkness looms, love may be the only force powerful enough to save Mirntha—or destroy it. ### Visit discord channel for illustrations of the characters: https://discord.gg/N4RNFqzmX9 This is a harem fantasy story that starts out slow. Creatures of the Dark

Chapter - 81

The soldiers traveling with Jacob were a good lot, or so it seemed after spending nearly six days on the road with them. They were open and engaging, with no airs of superiority despite Jacob's outsider status. Gareth, a middle-aged soldier with streaks of gray in his hair and a perpetually amused expression, was especially talkative. He was the kind of man who could fill silence with his stories, and he had quickly taken a liking to Jacob.

It was Gareth who helped ease Jacob into conversations with the rest of the group. The others, while friendly, had initially been a little wary of him. A monster hunter wasn't a common companion for soldiers, and they clearly didn't know what to make of him. But Gareth's constant chatter and good humor acted as a bridge, and soon Jacob found himself joining in on the banter around the fire.
