The Wanderer - A X-Men Crossover Fan-Fiction

Dying painfully and in despair, Elijah Frost wakes up in a new reality, where he finally got the chance he had been denied before. Using his unique gift, he plans to wander the galaxy, as he enjoys the freedom his power grants him. ................................ This Fan-Fiction is a Crossover between the X-Men, MCU and the Marvel Comics. Characters, events and timelines will be mixed to create the world the MC finds himself in after his abrupt transmigration. It is a slow paced story and therefore a bit different than my other works, which means it will also be longer. I know that a lot of things are overused when it comes to FF in the MCU, so I can only ask you to trust me that I will create a unique story that will not leave you wanting for anything. There will be romance. I have no real update schedule, but advanced chapters of this story are on my p@treon account. I will probably only upload it here occasionally, as this account isn't a priority of mine and just exists to stop others from stealing my intellectual property. (My p@treon-acc: www.p@treon.com/GodOfFreedom; Don't forget to change the @ for an a...) Last, but not least, I don't own anything but my own characters, as I do not own the cover image, which I found on the internet. If you are the creator and want me to take it down, just send me a message or leave a comment. Enjoy!

Chapter 069 – Moving Space

[2009 – July]

Limbs trembling in shock while her heart pounded against the cage of her ribs like a wild horse, Emma turned her sight away from the monitor on which the scenes in Elijah's training room had just played themselves out.

She wasn't just shocked by what she had just witnessed but infinitely close to pure horror, the only saving grace being that Elijah was her brother and part of her family, as what he had just done was something even Omega-level mutants should not be capable of. At least not in the way he had done it.

Elijah's newfound abilities were clearly an evolution to his powers, but Emma had never seen or heard anything like that, the only mutant that could maybe compare to him in that aspect being the master of magnetism.

Even Jean was different as she was the avatar of a higher-order being, and therefore not solely responsible for her own power growth.

From what Emma knew, Magneto's power had started out with the ability to control ferrous metals, but slowly he started to become able to influence the magnetic field directly, which later evolved further into him being able to control and manipulate the electromagnet field, one of the four fundamental forces of the Universe.

Erik was feared and worshiped exactly because of this, as he had been able to constantly excavate the potential of his ability, and become a man of power that knew no equal.

Still, it had taken Magneto decades to reach this point, decades he had spent in grueling training, dancing on the line between life and death regularly.

But what about Elijah, who had evolved and advanced his powers at every turn just after a few weeks of awakening them?

Her younger brother's talent was simply inhuman, and Emma realized that Elijah wasn't just extraordinary. He was wholly unique, the Omega category seeming unfit for one such as him.

Washing off the blood from my face in the locker room before walking back to Jean's and mine apartment, I simply collapsed on the king-sized bed after stripping off my clothes, my mind and especially my body exhausted from what I had just accomplished.

'Teleporting' myself through the training room was no easy feat and like any mutant stressing my powers beyond previous limits left a strain on my physical body, not to mention my mind. Thankfully though my mind had just been enhanced greatly, so the mental exhaustion I faced wasn't too severe.

Truthfully speaking though I wasn't capable of teleportation in the typical sense, what I had done was purely manipulate my shield which had fused with the space it occupied on a fundamental level, becoming that space in the process, and separated the area inside the barrier from the outside world, creating something akin to a sub-dimension.

Moving that space had only seemed like teleportation because space was capable of moving at speeds even beyond the speed of light.

I remembered this fact clearly as an anecdote from an introductory physics class I had taken while in college in my last life, even though I had later abandoned that path.

It had been part of a theory that there existed galaxies far away from the Milky Way that were unobservable through any means, as the light from said galaxy could never reach Earth due to the fact that the space between the two galaxies expanded at a faster speed than even light could travel.

It was a theory that had struck me with an almost unbearable sense of longing, knowing that there existed places so far away that we wouldn't ever know of their existence, places that constantly moved away further and further.

Not to mention that there had been galaxies that could be observed through highly-advanced telescopes, though by the point the light had reached Earth said galaxies would have most likely already been swallowed up by Black Holes simply because too much time had already passed when the light had finally reached Earth.

It was a simple fact that all we had known about the Universe in my last life had been nothing more than glimpses of its distant past.

In this life though, I was determined to see it with my own eyes, to wander amongst the stars and experience the endlessly expanding cosmos for myself, never reaching the end of my journey.

I fell asleep while imagining myself walking amongst celestial bodies and luminaries, treading on a path that would lead me through the void of space. And even after I had fallen asleep, I dreamed of the cosmos and the secrets it held, waiting to be explored and uncovered.

Stepping into the apartment she lived in with Elijah around lunchtime, to prepare some food after a lengthy training session, Jean called out in greeting: "Elijah?"

Her love had left her a message saying that he went back to the apartment a few hours ago, which was lucky as contrary to anyone else, she could not scan for him telepathically, or use her newly-gained sense to detect life to find him, Elijah being capable of shielding himself even from her abilities.

Not getting any answer, Jean moved to the bedroom, having already planned on switching her tight red training clothes for something more comfortable, her long hair being tied in a ponytail that swung behind her with every graceful step the young mutant beauty took.

She paused for a moment though as she reached the doorframe and saw her lover resting on the bed, his clothes discarded for the moment while only a thin sheet was covering his lower body.

"You're in bed early. Training went well, I guess.", Jean whispered smilingly, after having crawled onto the waist-high king-sized bed, her fingers softly brushing over the warm skin of his back and her lips leaving a gentle kiss on his shoulder blade.

Her senses being enhanced by the immense psionic energy coursing through her body at all times, she detected his shallow breathing so she knew that he was either just waking up or had not fallen asleep just yet.

"Mhm-hmm.", he hummed in agreement, his arm lazily wrapping itself around her midsection and pulling her to his side as he moved into a sideways position without opening his eyes.

The high-tech breathable material hugged Jean's curves smoothly, the long yoga pants displaying her slender legs and perky behind deliciously, while her perfect-sized bust was held in place by the long-sleeved shirt that left her taut abdomen bare.

Finally opening his eyes, a hungry light shining in them affectionately, Elijah stole himself a soft kiss from Jean's full lips.

Though his beautiful lover's eyes widened as she felt the ambient psionic energy humming joyfully in response to Elijah's emotions, his powerful mind rousing the usually silent energy surrounding them.

As the incarnation of the nexus of all psionic energy from every reality, Jean wasn't just extra sensitive to the psionic energies around her, but her mind was also several magnitudes more powerful than any other in this world.

Jean realized that Elijah's mind must have become much stronger, which led to him influencing the psionic energy in his immediate vicinity subconsciously.

She herself was likewise able to take control over the psionic energy surrounding her with great ease, theoretically, she could even exert control over all existing psionic energy. This was also the reason why every loss of control on her part could be potentially fatal for those around her.

"You became stronger again? Much stronger, in fact.", Jean voiced out against his lips breathlessly, Elijah's hands already roaming over her figure, one of his hands pulling her deeper into his embrace and the other gently squeezing her breasts through her workout clothes.

"I had an epiphany.", he replied with a whisper, his lips drawing a path from her jaw down to her neck, where Elijah promptly decided to suck on her skin causing a low moan to escape her lips.

"Wh- … Mhmm … What ep- … Mhmm … Epiphany?", Jean questioned, trying to suppress her moans as Elijah's muscular frame pressed her into the sheets, his lower body pushing against her core, while his hands softly kneaded her breasts and his lips danced over her heated skin.

"No more questions, my love.", Elijah stated softly, his forehead touching hers while his desire-filled gaze bore into her own, telling her of the lusty pleasures he wanted to overwhelm her with.
