Chapter 2

In the morning we all got up feeling groggy, except for Dwayne, cause we all stayed up to watch the other's actions. Rick and I got up and headed to the front door, there was a walker sitting outside leaning on a fence. I grabbed a baseball bat and gave to Rick and said, "Let's go kill it". Then we went out and Rick swung his bat hard and cracked it's skull and smashed it's brain. Immediately after, Rick fell to the ground and threw up.

Then we went back inside, once in we made our plan to go to the police station armory and then start our journey to Atlanta. After making our plan we went to the police station, took a shower and then went to the gun locker. In the gun locker, there were many pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles, and tons of ammo. So I discretely put 5 boxes of each ammo in my inventory, also a glock 16's and 10 filled clips, a tactical pump action shotgun, and a sniper rifle in my inventory. Then I took another glock and put it on the right side of my waist, and took 5 extra clips and put them in my pocket. After we finished bagging the rest of the guns and ammo into 2 bags. Then grabbed all the gas available. I put 2 cans in my inventory without them seeing.

Then we went outside and loaded them up into our cars. Morgan had a jeep and we were using a police cruiser. Then we went our separate ways, Rick and I to Atlanta and Morgan and his son back to the house we just stayed in. Rick gave Morgan a radio so we could keep in contact. When we were almost to the halfway mark to Altlanta static played on the radio, so Rick tried to contact the people on the other side, but all that we heard was static. What we didn't know was that at a quarry, a group of survivors heard us and tried to warn us about the city.

At about halfway to Atlanta, the car broke down. So we started walking, I carried all the guns. After walking for an hour we found a farm, we walked to the door and knocked but no one answered, so we looked through the window and found an old couple who had committed suicide with a shot to the brain. I quickly went inside and took the shotgun laying there. It was a brown pump shotgun.

We looked in the pickup truck out front but there weren't any keys, and even if there was, there might not be much gas. We were about to start walking down the road again until we saw 2 horses. We walked to the barn and inside we found 2 saddles. We then slowly walked up to the horses and put the saddles on. After that we got on and made our way to the city on horseback. When we finally got on the highway we saw a deserted city down the road so we continued.

After we arrived in the city we had just passed a tank and were about to round a corner and on the other side was a hoard of walkers. The horses got scared and threw us off. Once I landed on the ground, I quickly got up, grabbed the bag of guns, then ran over to Rick helped him up and we ran back to the tank, and got inside. When inside there was a walker, so I quickly grabbed my knife and stabbed him in head. I searched the guy and found a black baretta m9, then I looked around the tank and found a shovel and a grenade. I gave the baretta and shovel to Rick and kept the grenade in my pocket.

Then after a minute when we were ready to charge out, the radio of the tank made noise and then a voice came through. He said, "Hey dumbasses, want some help", I said, "Sure". He then said, when I say run down the street and to the ally with a gate", a minute later he said, "NOW". When I opened the top hatch, there was a walker, so I stabbed it in the head and pushed it away. Then we quickly got out of the tank with the bag of guns. After, we quickly ran while killing walkers that were close to us with melee only.

When we got to the ally with a gate we saw an Asian man in his 20's, them we followed him to a ladder and climbed up to the roof of a building. When we were on the roof, he said to us, "Hey, I'm Glen, what's your names?", I said, "Hi, I'm Jack and this is Rick". Then Rick said, "Hi, thank you, Do you know where the refugee camp is?". Glen said, "Yeah but it was over run by geeks". Then Rick asked is there a Lori or a Carl in your group?, Glen replied," Yeah, a woman and her little boy, they are with a cop named Shane". Rick then had a huge smile on his face and a determined look in his eyes. Then we walked to the fire escape and went down the stairs to an ally blocked by a bus. In the ally there were four walkers not facing us, so I quickly walked over and stabbed them in the head, one after another.

Glen was surprised I killed them so quickly and asked, "how are you so good at killing geeks?", I said, "I was in the military for a couple years, so I've seen some shit and done more". Then he became quiet and walked to a door with us following him, he knocked and the door opened. We went inside then I just waited for the events from the show to happen. Instead of Rick cuffing Merle, I knocked him out with a kick to the jaw. Then waited for them to see the construction site, and make a plan to cover Rick, Glen, and I, in walker guts so we could get to the construction site.

After they were finished we all smelled like walkers. I had a crobar in my right hand, Rick had a fireaxe, and Glen had a baseball bat. We exited the building and walked down the ally to the bus and crawled under it. Once on the other side we got up and walked like the walkers to the construction site. When we were 20 feet away from the gate in the middle of the crowd, a flash flood started pouring rain down on us, then we started running to the gate while killing any walkers that got too close. When we got to the gate we climbed over the gate and ran to the key box and then to an empty cargo truck and drove away.
