THE BEAST FROM THE OUTER REALMS.
There was eerie of ancient power emanating from within the deepest depths of the cave. Reece was hauled in by the surge of breath that rushed out and picked him from the ground, the breath held surge power and energy that it lifted him from the ground and thrusted him into the deepest part.
Deeper into the cave there was an opening leading to an even larger cavern. The tunnel leading to the cave was illuminated by light elemental crystals that were on the walls. Even though Reece couldn't sense their purity levels he sure knew the only reason there could be many and this bright is only because of the high purity levels.
"Put me down whoever you are," Reece commanded but he didn't know who he was talking to or even sending out the commands.
"Ancient bloodline, I can taste the blood flowing through your veins boy, the smell is intoxicating I like it boy." the same voice echoed through the tunnels again, as the wind finally dropped Reece into the second cave.
Reece was brought in front a demon beast which was large and still asleep, sleeping on a pile of elemental crystals, spirit stones, gold coins and countless other treasures. He stared straight into the beast as he marveled at its majestic figure it was something that he had never seen even in the books in the sect there was nothing to describe it.
" It's been years since I last laid eyes on this kind of ancient demon body, boy, who are you?" the same voice again spoke but this time it was inside Reece's mind as if they were sharing the same body.
It awoke from it slumber and as it took it first breath in what seemed to be like it hadn't in a century he drew the life out of the entire area and the forest above. It took its gaze from the moonlight above and shifted it towards Reece and started sniffing him, the sheer force took off his clothes leaving naked exposed to naked eye.
The demon beast took it claw and placed it over Reece's body and started patrolling him as if mapping out the veins, meridians and every fiber of his being was mapped out. With each stride from his claw his body began to feel hot, his insides were burning hot like they were being pulled out of his body.
"What are you doing to me? aaaah it hurts," Reece said in a sharp painful tone as he struggled to release himself from the claw.
As he struggled, he finally managed to get free and this time his rage was burning up and the pain didn't do much help either. He tried to focus his energy but he couldn't, tried releasing but it wouldn't budge.
"I guess I'll have to do this the old way now, come on!!" Reece said as he clenched his fist and rushed forward attacking the beast.
With a sudden burst of speed, the demon beast lunges at Reece, its claws slashing through the air. Reece's reflexes kick in, and he deftly sidesteps the attack, narrowly avoiding the beast's deadly grasp. Reece attacked with a series of precise strikes, landing blows on the demon's exposed neck and back side. His fists and feet move like lightning, his agility helped him maneuver through the fight. With each hit, the demon beast lets out a guttural roar, its pain and frustration palpable. Each hit landed on the exposed neck and chest, to counter the onslaught the beast lashed out it claws simultaneously and with each swing the speed increased and finally it managed to land a blow on Reece.
The battle rages on, each combatant pushing their limits. Reece's stamina and strength started to warn but even with half the strength he could still manage land a deadly blow on the demon beast. The demon beast, though ancient and powerful, had not even began to show its full might even under Reece's relentless assault. With the blow dealt on Reece his strength considerably weakened and the pain was endless from the first claw mapping his body to this barrage of swings.
"We can stop there now boy if we continue, you'll fall down dead, it's been a long time since I had such exercise it was really fun. You're a tough fighter even without using the surplus energy in you. Let's talk now, what's your name?" the beast returned to its place as it tried to converse with Reece.
"Okay I need to rest and ease the pain; my name is Lucien Reece a disciple of the Jao sect. What about you?" Reece replied.
" I'm Terraria an ancient spirit beast from Avaria, I've been sleeping down here for almost a millennium till I smelled your ancient bloodline and brought you down here." Terraria responded and tried to explain to Reece who seemed lost." Avaria is a realm far beyond yours that's where I am from."
" Wait, hold on, so what do you mean by realms? Aren't you from Tongtian continent? And what did you also mean about my blood? I have a lot of questions right now." Reece asked puzzled and trying to process the information.
"No, I'm not from your continent and this is called Tianxia realm and outside yours there are countless realms and more powerful people stronger than those in your realm. I also guess you don't know about your blood and body. Thats an ancient bloodline that can help you have superior physical strength and can also stagnate your cultivation at the nascent soul realm." Terraria explained in depth," when it comes your ancient demon body, I have only seen it once and it was with someone powerful who turned the realms upside down and challenged the authority of heaven, IMMORTAL EMPEROR CHING, he was the last person I ever saw and heard having such a physical constitute."
"So, I have the same constitute as that guy? I don't know much about that but my grandpa told me it was superior due to the demon beast I kept eating and refining their cores."
"Yes, you do and you've done great cultivating it to this extent without a clear guideline or mentor to guide you, I can also see your cultivation has regressed, try eating this and it'll stabilize and stop the regression." Terraria handed Reece a pill as she continued to explain to him,
Suddenly a thought came to Reece's mind and wanted to execute it.
"How about you be my teacher and teach me how to cultivate?' Reece asked with a low voice scared of being rebuffed by Terraria. He looked at her as she was weighing the question in her mind.
" I don't mind teaching you, but you'll have to do something for me in return, and we can make a deal if you'll help me." Terraria sounded serious as she approached Reece.
"Yes, as long as you can be my teacher and mentor, I can do anything for you Terraria," Reece assured Terraria as long as she would be his master.
" Okay I'll need you to sign a blood contract with me and if you become my student someday, you'll probably have to fight some powerful and strong people, are you prepared to fight them and protect me?" Terraria's voice was heavy and serious as she looked Reece into his eyes.
"Yes I don't mind fighting them to protect you and I get to fight powerful foes, that'll help me grow my combat skills and experience." Reece said excitedly as the thought of the combat crossed his mind.
" Give me your hand and cut it so we can make a spirit bond and be bonded now, and I can begin to teach you." Terraria held out her hand as it dripped blood and Reece followed suit stretching his blood and cut it too.
As their blood mixed so did their bond and there was a more illuminating light as Terraria transformed into a human body from her demon beast form and jumped into Reece's sea of consciousness only to find the Tao soul book in his space.
"What in the world are you doing with this here its been too long since we last met" Terraria spoke within Reece's sea of consciousness as she looked at the book.
