Ethan's Betrayal (?)

Duke Henry approached Helena after she had finished her business with Lord Gabriel. He was curious about what Helena was planning next.

"What surprise are you preparing now?" Duke Henry asked with a triumphant smile. "How did you manage to invite someone as important as Lord Gabriel here?"

Helena had anticipated that her grandfather would ask a similar question, as it was also on her mind when Ethan brought Lord Gabriel to her.

"I didn't prepare a surprise. But Ethan did," Helena replied softly, acknowledging Ethan's presence by her side as an immeasurable blessing.

Duke Henry narrowed his eyes. "Ethan?"

Helena had never felt more grateful than she did at that moment. Initially, she thought she would simply find a handsome but useless man to be a sperm donor for her. She only needed a superior seed from a man to become a mother. However, what she received was far beyond that.
