(Almost) Hopeless

"Ethan, don't reveal my true identity to anyone inside," Helena instructed. She intended to visit this hotel as a regular guest. She wanted to observe from the customer's perspective.

Helena and Ethan entered the small hotel, which was not much larger than the Arkwright family mansion. Well, what could be expected from five hundred million nova? It seemed that Lord Justin had spent around three to four hundred million nova on the building itself. The rest was used for furnishings and operational costs.

"Would you like to book a room?" asked a receptionist, a young woman dressed neatly but not extravagantly.

"I'd like to book two rooms under the name—"

"Why two? Just one," Ethan interjected, giving Helena a questioning look. Why should their rooms be separate? Weren't they already almost there?

"Alright. One room under the name—"

"Adam Sawyer and Sofia."
