Finding her Husband
The prince was injured!
Rain felt her breath gradually get heavier. Her legs became wobbly and nearly gave in to the floor . Her composure didn't seem to receive the shock of the news well and her reaction surprised even her.
The prince was injured? How could that happen suddenly? It was said he went to Gabah for business and not to settle a feud.
Rain was well aware she shouldn't mind, but strangely her mind and heart raced. The fear of not ever seeing the prince again encroached on her thoughts and her chest felt heavy. She shouldn't worry for such a husband, yet she couldn't control the tension brimming in her mind.
It couldn't be more clearer that her strange husband had a terrible habit of getting hurt.
How long had he been unwell for? Perhaps that was why he hadn't written back to any of her letters. He must've been suffering all along while she held a grudge and lived in luxury.
