698. Dinning Disruption
"Sire, I apologize for the late arrival." He didn't look very sorry as he said this; rather, there was a smile on his lips.
"Have a seat," Jael said curtly.
"Right away," he replied, but made sure to slowly walk to the nearest table.
Mauve was grateful their table was filled. Lots of Lords had already arrived by this point. The only ones missing were Lord Drusile and Lord Phelan. As for the latter, there was no doubt he would make an appearance—after all, his son was already here.
The servants were quick to serve Lord Seraphino, even as the air grew tense and whispers filtered through the hall.
"I didn't think the Primus would invite him," a voice carried to Mauve's ear.
"I didn't either. However, this concerns the whole of the vampires, everyone knows how important Seraphino is and…"
